Good transportation Great food Fun nightlife Cool factor

One of the largest neighborhoods in Brooklyn, Williamsburg has undergone a major metamorphosis in the last decade.

It’s transforming from a traditionally working-class neighborhood to a veritable embodiment of gentrification and urban rebirth. These days, tourists and day-trippers flock to Williamsburg for a little slice of cosmopolitan bohemia.

OUR OPINION: The buildings on the corner of Skillman and Kingsland Avenue are great value condo style rentals. Their appeal is obvious, as similar quality rentals by the Bedford/Lorimer L Train stops typically lease around $4,000. This particular duplex sits on the top floor, corner, of the building, boasting privacy and a private large roof deck. From the Livingroom a direct view of the Williamsburg bridge is head on. Step onto the glass encased balcony and you will see midtown. On your private rooftop terrace you can garden (water hose), listen to tunes (power outlet), and enjoy direct views of the WBurg Bridge, Freedom Tower, the Empire State, and Chrysler Building. The finishes are very nice, featuring modern spacious bathrooms and kitchens with islands, storage, and stainless appliances. Additionally, the future tenant gets a stacked Borch Washer/Dryer & private storage unit in the basement. THE NEIGHBORHOOD: The Graham L Train area is booming. I have personally documented over 7 new restaurants and shops that have opened up in just 3 months. The night life has picked up quite a bit as well, with numerous bars opening their doors. Top restaurants such as Mesa Coyocan (delicious mexican food) and Sel de Mar (seafood) are right around the corner. The property stands on a quite tree lined street, close to the Graham L Train, but far enough away that none of the foot traffic or noise is nearby.
