A new housing lottery has launched at 810 Fulton Street in Clinton Hill, Brooklyn offering 73 units to low-income renters who qualify. Rents start at $913 per month for studios and go up to $1,183 for 2-bedrooms, varying with income and household size. Interested renters should apply through NYC Housing Connect before the deadline of Dec. 20, 2018.

How to Apply for the 810 Fulton St. Housing Lottery

To apply for one of the 73 available units, you must meet the household income requirements. These are set at 60 percent of the area median income (AMI) or, between $33,189 and $62,580 annually, depending on family size.

There are other criteria that may influence the selection process. Current municipal employees and applicants with disabilities impacting their audio, visual or mobile facilities receive special preference. Residents who are currently living in Brooklyn Community Board 2 also receive preference.

About the 810 Fulton Street Apartments Housing Lottery

Developed by RXR Realty, the 12-story, 363-unit building will span nearly 400,000 square feet once completed. The ground floor will house commercial space and underground parking. Residents can expect luxury finishes including in-unit washer and dryers as well as access to a communal roof terrace, fitness center, business center, pet spa and additional storage space.

Located close to the C train at Clinton-Washington Avenue station, 810 Fulton Street is within walking distance of several parks and restaurants as well as the Brooklyn Academy of Music.

You can apply online here. If you qualify, you will have an interview to review and confirm your eligibility. Interviews typically occur anywhere between two and 10 months after the application deadline. Be sure to go to the interview prepared. Bring documents that verify your household size, the identities of those in your household, and your household income.
