  Brett Gold is truly a superhero broker. Working with Brett, my boyfriend and I went from initial contact to closing on our dream apartment—a beautiful studio 200 feet from Central Park!—in just two weeks. We had searched for months and reached out to others before Brett. They gave us halfhearted replies, if at all: they were too busy or had no affordable stock (maybe if you add $500 a month to your budget?). They wasted our time with dead-end emails and bad listings. Not so with Brett. When we contacted Brett the first time, he immediately called us and we scheduled a showing of the apartment we asked about for the next day. He worked with us on every step, treated us with respect, and truly understood what we deemed important. Brett showed us apartments in our price range and preferred location ($1800, MTE/ UES) that were not only in budget for two students but also absolutely gorgeous. We could have moved into any of them! In contrast, others tried to upsell us glorified dorm rooms/jail cells that smelled of trash. Even though we weren’t always the easiest clients to work with, Brett worked until the last minute helping us close on our new place. He always kept in contact, never flaked, and risked his own reputation with a real estate firm because he believed and wanted us to get the apartment. The Manhattan apartment hunt is stressful, and our past two weeks have been no exception. However, with Brett along as our broker, the process was quick, easy, and even fun, ending with our move into the perfect apartment. All thanks to Brett!
