Kensington and Parkville is the area South of Prospect Park and the Greenwood Cemetery in central Brooklyn.

The neighborhood consists of a diverse mix of cultures and traditions. It is located west of Ditmars Park and Prospect Park South, south of Windsor Terrace, east of Borough Park, and north of Midwood.

The land now known as Kensington was first colonized by Dutch farmers in the 17th century and then re-settled by British colonists in 1737.

Ocean Parkway @ Ditmas Avenue: Quiet one bedroom with medium light with a great layout with a 12 x 18 livingroom with bamboo floors throughout, a separate kitchen with stainless appliances including dishwasher and micro, granite floors and counters and white cabinets. There is a coat closet, a small pantry closet, linen closet and a huge double-wide closet at the entrance to the 11 x 17 bedroom. There is a full bath with marble floors, and the entire apartment was renovated about 2 years ago and is getting painted and cleaned.
