West Village

Quiet Good transportation Great food Fun nightlife Cool factor LGBT-popular Young crowd

Perhaps more than any other NYC neighborhood, West Villagers are obsessed with their neighborhood.

For instance, many forgo basic privacy by making two-bedroom apartments accommodate four roommates and embrace sleeping in a room with enough space for a bed and nothing more. They also give up...cash to live in one of the city's most expensive neighborhoods.

Stunning one bedroom, tile bathroom in the heart of the West Village. This is the idyllic neighborhood of Jane Jacobs, the district of odd-angled streets designed to disorient grid-seasoned New Yorkers.

So many bars, so little time when it comes to the West Village. The Ear Inn and White Horse Tavern are classics.

Legendary restaurants are all throughout, my personal favorite in this hood is the Spotted Pig.

Maybe too many shopping choices, which ranges from low to high such as...Alexander McQueen, and Stella McCartney.

There is nothing not to LOVE about the West Village!
