  For those who don't want to read my whole review, bottom line: contact Kayla if you need an apartment! By the time I started working with Kayla I was exhausted and frustrated with the whole NYC rental process. I had met with three brokers already...the first was ok, the second was fairly unprofessional, and I'm pretty sure the third's M.O. was the whole bait and switch tactic. I reached out to Kayla after seeing one of her listings on Naked Apartments, hopeful that she would be the last broker I would need to contact! She responded almost immediately and I could instantly tell working with her was going to be a much better experience than the other brokers. After seeing two apartments, she knew exactly what I wanted and didn't waste my time showing me apartments that I wouldn't like or that were above my price range. Kayla was incredibly knowledgeable, not only about the apartment buildings but also the areas around them. She answered all of my questions quickly and professionally, including the frantic ones! :) I passed up a certain apartment one day and called her two days later to see if by chance it was still available. Although it was not, she assured me that she would continue to search the market and that we would be able to find me the perfect apartment. The next day the apartment I passed up went back on the market and Kayla called me right away to share the news. Even though she was excited and thought it would be a great place for me, I never once felt pressured to hand over money or sign anything. I ended up going with that place and Kayla was genuinely excited for me when my application was accepted, which made me even more excited about my move to NYC! She walked me through each step of the application and leasing process, explained every detail clearly, and made the whole process easy and efficient. I just moved in this past week and could not be happier with the apartment Kayla found me! Kayla is a truly nice and honest person...probably two adjectives that cannot be used to describe most NYC brokers. And on top of that, she's great at her job! Seriously, don't waste your time with other brokers and contact Kayla now. :)
