  Stephanie Zvi is a great broker and great person. Period. I had some very difficult challenges in my search, many brokers weren't very interested in helping me out. Low budget, short-term lease constraints, these are things that make finding an apartment a nightmare in NYC. However, Stephanie was the first to follow up and stuck with me every step of the way. I felt a little guilty because I thought she was spending a lot of time on me and might be better off serving her other clients. After all, brokers are people and they need to get business in and out the door. Nevertheless, she assured me not to worry and continued exerting effort to assist me. In the end, I found a deal that worked but not through her. When I talked to her about this (apologetically) her reaction was... she was GENUINELY happy for me that I found something that worked. She didn't just say this, I could tell she meant it. This is what separates her from the pack in my mind. What I learned is that when you work with a broker, you don't want just a human with a special database access. You want someone who is going to really try and understand what you need and find solutions to your specific problem. Brokers (the good ones) not only help you find a place, but they also educate you on the process, what to expect, how to make smart compromises - and also to give you peace of mind when you're ready to tear your hair out in despair. Stephanie is that kind of person who will support you whole-heartedly during this process. I'm still struggling and trying to make it here in the city. (I imagine many of us are.) The way "small" clients like myself are treated says a lot. I'm pretty sure I'll be able to move up the ladder through hard work and effort. Isn't that what NYC is about? When I do, when I'm ready to find a new apartment to meet my future needs - I will most certainly turn to Stephanie for assistance. I know she'll show the same commitment to hard work and heart that I value very much.

  Having lived in NY for ten years, I have had much experience with brokers--most of them horrible. But Stephanie Zvi was amazing to work with--she was genuinely interested in helping me find an apartment that met all of my specifications and was willing to really go above and beyond. I always knew exactly what to expect from an apartment and did not have to worry that my time was being wasted seeing apartments that I would never rent. Although I ended up holding off on my search, Stephanie has followed up several times with me and I will definitely use Stephanie again the next time I decide to move.
