THE NEIGHBORHOOD: The location of this gutted Loft Building is pretty great (as in outstanding). The property stands directly on the corner of North 11th Street and Driggs Avenue, 3 blocks to the East River Park, 2 blocks to McCarren Park, and 5 blocks to the Bedford L Train. So many restaurants and bars are steps away from the building that it would be near impossible to visits all the locales within a 1yr lease term. The walk to the Bedford L takes no more then 4 minutes, and the commute to Union Square is typically 3-4 minutes. Not too bad we think.
OUR THOUGHTS: We really like the building and area, however honesty is important so we'll say that this 3 bedroom Loft is pretty small. The living room is quite large, but 2 of the 3 bedrooms are very small. However, the ceiling height is almost 16ft making the overall space very large and airy. As this particular unit sits on the corner of the building there is an abundance of natural lighting pouring in through many windows. The Loft also has a lot of character, and the building has a laundry room, gym, and elevator leading up to one of the best furnished roof decks around (really amazing..like incredible... 360 degree view of Manhattan and Brooklyn). Come by and judge it yourself.

After having some completely soul crushing experiences with other brokers, Jane spent a lot of time and effort working with my girlfriend and I to find us an apartment we love.
