Ryan was very helpful. He made sure to only show me apartments within my budget and helped me get an apartment that met every one of my criterias while still being below my max price. Very helpful, easy to work with, and was there to guide me every step of the way! Even after getting the apartment, he helped make sure that my moving process went smoothly. Hel helped me find movers and gave me other helpful moving tips.

I can't express how awesome my experience with Ryan has been. As a student from outside of New York, I was pretty nervous getting into searching for an apartment, however, right from the beginning Ryan was enthusiastic, and reassuring. He made sure I had all of my paperwork in line before viewing any apartments so no one's time would be wasted. The apartments he had lined up were all within my price range and exactly what I had in mind, he was also a pleasure to spend the day with! With the horror stories I heard from friends dealing with brokers, I am beyond thankful that I found Ryan. Highly recommended!

Snezan was always upfront, honest and just an overall great guy who was easy to get along with and not pushy about trying to sell us on an apartment we didn't want. He worked hard to find us a place that fit our needs and was within our budget and stayed in touch with us, letting us know about new apartments hitting the market and other places that matched our interests even when our first choice didn't pan out. Snezan was also very flexible about meeting us at times that worked for us and was always quick about responding to messages. I'd highly recommend Snezan as a broker.

Louis did an excellent job of finding me a 2 bedroom apartment in Manhattan. I was new to the city but had a pretty good idea of where I wanted to live and what I was looking for. I reached out to Louis via this website and he responded promptly to me.
He understood my requirements and took me to view 2 properties in different parts of Manhattan. After repeatedly viewing several horrible apartments with other realtors, it was a breath of fresh air to view 2 gorgeous apartments presented to me by Louis (one in the Upper West Side and the other in the East Village).
All in all, I would highly recommend Louis as a broker/ realtor. He takes the time to listen to your requirements, provides honest feedback and is willing to go the extra mile to ensure you secure a home that is the right fit for you.

The first apartment Vandana showed me was a winner so I didn't need to look at more!
She worked tirelessly to secure the apartment for me late on a Friday - an amazing feat, as I came to the appointment completely unprepared (didn't have my papers with me, the bank was closed and so I couldn't get a cashier's check, etc.) Despite these obstacles, as well as me traveling for work early the next week, she made it happen and I signed my lease yesterday.
I highly recommend working with Vandana, and have already told a few friends about her. She took the time to understand what was important to me and she found me the right apartment fast. She's highly responsive, professional, and will get your questions answered.

My husband and I recently moved from Japan and did not know Manhattan well. Natalia took the time to work out what we were looking for and then gave us pointers on the Manhattan market and different areas that would suit us. Natalia brought us up to speed with our apartment search quickly though countless email exchanges and a couple of weekends of viewings. With Natalia helping us, and never being pushy or impatient, we became comfortable enough to proceed with renting an apartment while still in Japan. We moved in a few days ago and could not be happier. Natalia made the whole process as easy as it could possibly be. We met a number of other realtors while working with Natalia and none came close to Natalia's honesty, integrity, and professionalism.
I highly recommend her services.

Joe is the most helpful guy of all time. He not only led me around to 4 different places on the day I first met him, but he wasn't pushy at any of them. Once I decided on a place, there were a lot of papers to get in order (4 roommates...) but he was patient, specific, and made the whole process very easy. He always responds to texts within a couple of hours.
It didn't stop there. Once we signed the lease and handed over the checks, he was still extremely helpful with the move in. We had a bit of a hassle on the day of moving because of the previous tenants, but Joe arranged a cleaning lady for us who got the place looking great.
Since then, he's brought in people to fix all of the small issues we've had in a super time efficient manner. He really eliminated every fear or apprehension that I had about renting for the first time in NYC. Seriously, can't recommend Joe highly enough.

After dealing with brokers who were not helpful because of my budget, I was very pleased when I met Jermaine. He went above and beyond for us and exceeded all expectations. I have never used a broker before, and susan makes me want to work w a broker again in my future- specifically her. she is very fast, professional, incredibly responsive, and a genuinely good person. I highly recommend working with her. I was weary at first since a broker is another expense on top of an already large cost of moving, but she was worth all of it. thanks susan!!!

Susan was a phenomenal agent in every sense of the word. She helped guide me through the process, tended to my needs and inquiries and assured that I would get the apartment of my choice. I have never come across an agent who worked so hard in the interest of her clients. Most importantly, she was kind, thoughtful, and kept it real with me. When so much money is at stake, it's good to know that you're dealing with someone who's not only genuine, but cares about what you're looking for. Susan is that agent. I highly recommend her services.

Even though the first apartment we saw ended up being rented before we had the chance, Sarah worked with our budget and location restrictions and continued sending us places that we might be interested in. She even hooked us up with another broker because the apartment they had fit our needs. We ended up taking it and love it! The only downside to our situation was that we had to pay broker fees to TWO brokers, but we got to look before they were even on the market, so we probably wouldn't of had a chance otherwise.
Anyway, Sarah is the most "real" broker I've met. She's not cheesy or pushy. So I'd definitely recommend giving her a call!

The broker I worked with was Kyle Calderon, Jonathan is his boss.
When it came time to submit our paperwork and start the lease signing process, my boyfriend and I hit a few bumps with our credit. There were some things showing up in error, and some messy-ness on our end - in total, it was enough to get us denied from this apartment or any other. This is when Jonathan got involved, and was truly amazing in handing this situation. Not only did he spend an extensive amount of time and attention with us in explaining every detail of the problem and how to fix it, but he also spent several days working with the managment company in order to resolve the situation. He was exactly what you would hope for in a situation like this. He was patient and calm, going above and beyond to make sure we were understanding every step of the process, which means the world in a stressful situation such as this. He treated us as if we were his only clients, and 100% went to bat for us to make sure we were approved. I honestly don't think we would have got this apartment if it weren't for Jonathan.

I have worked with Jonathan in finding my past 2 apartments in Manhattan. Jonathan worked with me closely to make sure that he was showing me apartments that met all of my specific needs/requirements(I am very picky), which greatly helped reduce the stress I was feeling in looking for a new home. He was extremely diligent and professional. Each and every apartment was special in a different way. When it came to signing, Jonathan worked quickly to make sure all paperwork was turned in and approved in a timely and organized fashion. When I eventually have to move again, I will 100% work with Jonathan and his team for my 3rd time! I highly recommend him as a broker!!

Keys is a a great person to work with. She's honest, helpful, and reassuring. Most importantly, she does her job well. My roommate and I were looking for spaciousness and affordability, as well as safety and peace of mind in Harlem. It only took one outing to know that she found us a great apartment.
Keys is very efficient. I inquired on a Sunday night about a listing and she responded within minutes of me pressing SEND on my e-mail. On that following Tuesday, we went to see five apartments all in the same area. We handed in our deposit and paperwork on the following Wednesday/Thursday. By Monday/Tuesday, we signed the lease. Even though we moved fast, there was never a feeling that she was pressuring us at all. We moved at our pace and she respected that.
On our initial phone call, she didn't just try to get us "through the door" like some other brokers do. She asked me smart questions about what I was looking for, about what mattered to me, about budget, etc. She really took the time to understand what our practical needs and wants were. I could tell from my conversation that she would be working hard for me. (And she did until the very end.)
One of the most important things we talked about were the costs outside of rent. It was clear and upfront what we needed to account for. And she was fair when we needed to discuss further.
I was really impressed with her when we went into each apartment. With her experience, she understand what our reactions meant. She also got a feel for the relationship between my roommate and I, such as what was interesting to my roommate vs what was interesting to me. And she asked us directly how we felt about specific things.
Bottom line, she really listens and takes action. She has my high recommendation.

Bobby was easily the best broker I’ve worked with. I was looking for a 1br in Midtown West with specific dimensions and price. I knew it was going to be difficult to find, but not impossible. He never pushed me to the UES like so many other brokers tried to. He listened to what I was looking for. He did not show me places that didn’t match my criteria and didn’t waste my time. He communicated constantly about what was available and didn’t lie to me or pull any bait-and-switch. He was always up front and honest.
I didn’t have strict deadline to move out. So many brokers would not speak to me even though I was ready to move. They told me to contact them 2-3 weeks before I absolutely had to move in an apparent effort to put me in a situation where I had to take what was available. Bobby didn’t do that. He started the search immediately and accepted I was ready even without a definite deadline. He didn’t push me into something I wouldn’t have liked. He was able to find something that worked for me.
When it came to the application and lease signing, he was very helpful. He answered all of my questions quickly and made the process very easy. I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for an apartment.

Oren is an incredible broker. He was quick to respond and answer any and all questions I had. He was very patient visiting quite a few locations and is determined to find a perfect fit for potential renters. He is resourceful and knowledgeable. I would recommend him to anyone. I did not rent an apartment from him only because I started house hunting a bit too early and nothing was available for the time frame I will be able to move in.

Cecil helped find me and my girlfriend the best apartment, in the best location for the absolute cheapest rent. He helped us deal with a really tough landlord-- and got us into by far the best apartment I've lived in, in NYC. He's a total professional and earned every dollar we paid him. Other brokers are brutal, don't even waste your time. Cecil is the man.

You want to have Cecil as your broker. I entered the rental market thinking I could do this on my own and did not need to use a broker. Cecil proved me wrong. The knowledge he has about the rental market, inside connections with various buildings, and his creativity with rent negotiations made it completely worth it. Most importantly, he attentively listens to what you're looking for and doesn't push you toward what works for him. He exceeded my expectations in every apartment he showed me. The next time I am in the rental market again, I will be calling Cecil.

Her and her sister will strive until they find you your dream place. No matter how annoying or unreasonable your requests may be, Gaby will keep you in the loop about everything, tell you the truth upfront and try her absolute best to show you every place she can. Brant was incredibly professional and super friendly at the same time. It's hard to find the mix that Brant brings to the table, especially in the NYC real-estate industry. I had to find a place in a very short amount of time, and Brant made it happen and matched my perfectly. A lack of preparation/organization on my end was made up for by Brant's enthusiasm,patience, and willingness to help. I would suggest that anyone looking for an NYC apartment go directly to Brant!

I had an awesome experience with one of Mr. Rosenberg's colleagues-- Marlene. If anyone is looking for an apartment in Queens or the surrounding areas or you have a rushed timeline for applying for apartments, Marlene will do absolutely everything to find you a place that fits your criteria. She was extremely proactive, friendly, well-spoken, and really took the time to find out exactly what I needed so she could find the perfect place for me. I ended up finding something larger for the same price with a different service, but Marlene was the best broker anyone could ask for and really took the stress out of the NYC apartment hunting experience.

I can't tell you how much my boyfriend and I were raving about Quran and his partner, Phillip Noel all day. They are both SO nice, so knowledgable about the area (we were looking in Brooklyn), so helpful, so genuine and just GREAT! They convinced us within minutes that we were ready to move to Brooklyn! We appreciated their genuine interest, their attentiveness to our needs and their drive to find something that met our needs.
While we loved the apartments we saw and were confident that they would continue to show us great apartments, we stumbled upon an owner renting a condo and decided to move forward on it. We both looked at each other and said that we even felt badly renting the condo because we were so happy to work with them and were HAPPY to pay a broker fee to brokers like them. Other brokers we had worked with were like robots, treating us like a number and were unwilling to put in work.
You can be sure that we will refer them to any and all friends looking for apartments in New York.

Robert quickly responded to my inquiries, was very professional, and was on time for all of our appointments. After showing us the initial apartment we contacted him about, he was able to show us 3 other apartments the same day that met the criteria we gave him. We rented one of these and are excited to move into our new space!
I would definitely recommend working with Robert - he made a stressful process (moving in New York City) much less stressful and was a pleasure to work with.

Ryan was the perfect broker. He didn't push us into anything we didn't want, and listened to our needs carefully.
After several conversations he designed a list of apartments that fit our budget and met our criteria. When we met he was ready to go and immediately took us, via his car, to all the apartments. He was incredibly organized, thorough and helpful with our questions.
He is highly recommended if you want someone honest, professional, proficient.

After about 3 weeks of looking for a place that was big enough and accepted 2 dogs, we finally came across Edwin who showed us a great apartment that we ended up renting. Although it was a bit over our budget, it had tons of space and allowed us to keep our two dogs. Now we have a great place in a brown stone near the park and it is all thanks to Edwin!

After living in Brooklyn for ten years and undergoing a three week long discouraging apartment search, I found Edwin. He was extremely responsive and helpful and completely put me at ease throughout the process. He had great listings and showed me very nice apartments. He had great relationships with the landlords and went to great lengths to give me information about the new neighborhood I was moving in to. Professional, courteous and patient, he answered every single question that I had. It's easy to see why he gets such good reviews! Do yourself a favor and work with him.

Jeff was everything we could have asked for in a broker. He worked diligently for us and truly listened to our wants and needs. Every apartment we saw was better than the last, and was tailored to the previous feedback we'd given Jeff.
The apartment we ended up with was nothing short of amazing, and we are regular middle class people, not millionaires. I've said more than once that I think we experienced the elusive NYC real estate miracle that I'd previously been so jealous of when hearing rumors about "friends of friends".
I've worked with competent brokers before but this was just a whole other level of service and expertise. I cannot recommend him enough.

After weeks of dealing with B.S. brokers I was finally lucky enough to meet Jeff. He better understood what I was looking for in an hour than others did after weeks. He was so efficient, showing me 6 apts in our first meeting at short notice. He gave me some great advice "99% of rentals are available to all brokers, focus on finding a broker you like and the rentals will come". I will definitely be recommending Jeff to friends, he makes the miserable manhattan apt hunting process a little easier. THANKS JEFF!

Abi was great throughout the entire rental process. I saw a great apartment and put down a deposit the same day, she made the whole process entirely painless. She was quick to respond to emails and texts and helped me get together all the paperwork I needed to sign the lease the next week. Great experience overall and she's a very friendly and nice person in general.

There’s a reason why he’s a Hall of Famer on here. He’s responsive, friendly, knowledgeable, and most importantly, honest. He was very straight forward about the reputation of the neighborhoods of certain units in my price range, as well as what he could do for me (with my budget and credit limitations).

Avraham was very knowledgeable about the neighborhood and had clearly taken the time to get to know the apartments and buildings. He was very informative about the units and area, but also about the rental process. He was quick to respond to questions via text, email, and phone, and adapted well to my stated requirements for a new apartment. Though I did not end up renting an apartment through Avraham, it was purely down to the timing. I definitely recommend working with Avraham if you're looking for an apartment in Ditmas Park.

Choosing Francisco Rojas as my realtor, was the best decision I made during the entire daunting apartment search process.
Francisco is very professional, easy to work with, and he really understands the New York City market.
He took the time to explain everything to me, and he always responded to my questions in a timely matter. I never felt insignificant, eventhough I was among hundreds of other new yorkers looking for a new home. When it came time to sign, he explained every single document I had to sign. He was thorough, and I never felt rushed.
In fact, he looked into every listing question/concern I asked, and now I'm enjoying my wonderful new home.
I always felt like he gave me honest advice and that represented my interests in a very professional an efficient manner. He is someone who I would definitely use again, when the time comes.

Evelyn was really great, very responsive and very informative. She was really honest about the places she took us to and didn't make us sign anything we didn't feel comfortable doing. Because of a roommate issue, it didn't work out. But still I would highly recommend Evelyn! She also took us to a great bakery in the area haha and it was delicious.

Luis is a fantastic agent. After my initial inquiry, he took the time to call and ask, in detail, about me, my interests, and about what I was looking for in a home. During our first meeting together, he walked me from one property to the next, through various neighborhoods, pointing out important things about each area. Having never worked with a broker before, Simon dispelled many of the awful stereotypes I'd come to know. I thought Simon did a great job helping my roommate and I look for a great apartment in the price range and location we most desired. We are both new to the east coast and had never worked with brokers before. He asks a lot of questions up front but once that was out of the way he very quickly scheduled several appointments to see apartments all in one day. It took us a couple of weeks from start to lease signing. Other brokers often took days to get back to me with listings of apartments Simon had already shown me (and let's face it, we all know how quickly apartments go in the city). He worked hard to help us and it was much appreciated.

We had a great experience in our apartment search with Kyle. We had previously seen other apartments with other brokers, but Kyle showed us the best options by far. He really listened and only showed us apartments that matched our criteria. He was also very helpful in answering our questions with thoughtful replies. Kyle was flexible in terms of scheduling and we appreciated that he did not try to pressure us to put in an application. We will contact him again for future apartment searches and will recommend him to our friends.

Kyle is an amazing Broker. He is definitely a rare find, and anyone who works with him can be sure he will exceed all expectations. When my boyfriend and I decided to move and get our own place, we quickly realized that we were going to have to use a broker - which we were not thrilled about - but by the end of our experience with Kyle, we both felt that he was worth every single dollar. Not only did he show us really great options (that were actually in our price range) but he ended up getting us the most incredible apartment - it is bigger and better than we ever thought possible for our budget. It exceeds every expectation we had - and I credit him for that 100%. He listened to every detail of what we were looking for, so when this apartment hit the market, he called right away urging us to come see it - knowing it was exactly what we wanted.
When it came time to submit our paperwork and start the lease signing process, is when we both said "thank god we have Kyle." When the credit check was run, there were a few issues that looked worse than they were, but would have definitely been a deal breaker with most apartments and brokers. Kyle immediately got his boss involved, and to say the two of them went to bat for us is a huge understatement. They were so amazing in explaining everything happening and what exactly we needed to do in order to fix it. Long story short, the only reason we were approved for this apartment is because of how hard Kyle and Jonathan fought for us. They treated us as if we were their only clients and took every measure needed to make sure we got the apartment.
We've been in the apartment for about a week now, and are still in awe that we live there. Its that good, and so is Kyle.

Zoe and her partner Max were incredible. I needed to find an apartment (my first apartment!!) over the course of two days. They really paid attention to my needs and wants, and showed me probably 20 apartments. They go above and beyond the call of duty, even after you signed the lease. They will help you work with the management company and even keep in touch with you periodically to make sure the moving transition goes smoothly.
I do not have enough kind words about them. They worked for every dollar of that broker's fee! I hope I can work with them again in the future.

I didn't get the pushy sales pitch from him nor the ratcheting up of pressure in the apartment, he didn't crowd me describing every doorknob . He just concisely ensured that I was prepared, advised that there would be competition for desirable spaces in good condition in affordable Nabes. I was prepared to make an earnest deposit on a space I feel in love with, otherwise and until that point he took me to a few spaces that met most of what I've asked for.
The only better experience I had was renting in buffalo. I could live like a queen for my buck. =) Go with this guy

Finding a place in the city (and now Brooklyn) is hard! The fake Craigslist ads I suffered through . This site was a breath of fresh air. I saw 3 happening listings all belonging to this Collins guy. He didn't seem like a novice robot so I felt him out. He answered all of my questions graciously, did a customized search & then we scheduled an appointment days later. I needed to cancel because of extenuating circumstances- he didn't badger me.
Overally, my impression of Hannibal is that he's in this for the passion of it. Not the money- [although that talks]. It was evident in his expression & how he interacted with everyone from me , to owners, supers & coworker. En route to a viewing he mentioned his fondness for architecture, my nephew is an engineering major. Young professionals bring tears of joy to old-timers like me. I wish Hannibal continued success in this tough business. If only all brokers were cut from this cloth.

Emilio is an honest, punctual, easygoing, hardworking broker. Full disclosure --- he only showed us 1 apartment --- but that was more a reflection of our budget and the inventory available where we were looking. Throughout the whole process of setting up the viewing, meeting up and going through the apartment, answering all of our questions afterward, negotiations with the landlord, and the actual signing of the lease, Emilio was a pleasure to work with. In our apartment search, we looked at 23 apartments in with over 10 brokers, and I've gotta say, Emilio's easygoing attitude and total transparency put them all to shame. I highly recommend his services to anyone looking for a place in NYC.

We were super impressed with Guillaume. This was our first attempt to rent an apt in Manhattan, and we were clueless as to what the market would allow. Guillaume was very patient and dedicated to finding us what we wanted in a no-nonsense kind of way, but with none of the patronizing tone that brokers can get with you here in NY. He did not waste a single moment of our time, everything we saw was very possible for us. That accuracy allowed us to become picky, and he did not lose patience with our pickiness. In the end, he found us a great apt in an area that we were not considering, for a better price than what we had thought we were going to spend...Guillaume is someone who pays attention to what you like, what you want, what you need, and then finds it for you.
On top of being a good broker, he is also pleasant company with whom to spend 2 days walking the city. We enjoyed our time looking at apts, which is saying a lot. We will call on him again the next time we move.

I haven't rented an apartment yet, but I just had an incredible experience with Christine Carter.
She responded within 5 minutes of my initial inquiry and set up an appointment straight away. The first place wasn't my cup of tea, but she had keys on hand for a few other places. I have to say I'm really impressed. Christine is the most laid back and prepared broker I have met and I'm definitely going to continue my search with her. The place I asked about was the place I saw too.

Deborah is a very professional agent, within this short period of knowing her I realized she loves her job, more than that she is committed to it. Per say, she treats her clients as the first priority and makes sure she gets them what she promised. Overall it was a great pleasure to have worked with her, more than that to have known her. Hanna was great. I wasn't in a big rush so I was pretty picky which I think would have bothered most brokers, but not her. She was very responsive, proactive and totally went the extra mile to help get me into my new home. Even after I moved in she was still helping deal with building management to get some maintanence issues addressed. Hanna was my savior! Having less than average experiences with several other brokers, I was feeling very underwhelmed with my EV apartment search. Hanna was quick to respond to my initial enquiry and when I learnt that that particular apartment had already been rented, she responded the same day with another option that fitted my criteria. Hanna met with me at a time that suited my schedule and not only showed me the one apartment but a second, which was to become my new home. Throughout the entire process, Hanna was accommodating and transparent and most importantly to me, not at all pushy. I would definitely recommend Hanna and would not hesitate utilizing her expertise in the future.

Sheldon is the most honest and professional broker I've ever come across between my time in NYC and Boston. I seldom feel that I can actually trust brokers. This case is different. I settled on a beautiful 1 bedroom apartment in South Slope/Windsor Terrace (after a rollercoaster of experiences with other brokers over the past few weeks). I highly recommend him to whomever is considering one of his listings.

This broker is amazing! He basically got us our dream apartment at our price range despite a couple of snafu's that arose along the way. Besides that he is just generally an awesome guy and a good person, something almost unheard of for a broker in New York. After a month of looking through fake pictures on nakedapartments, Mathew Swann was a breath of fresh air. All around great guy, on time and concise. With so many poorly informed and thieving brokers in the city, you're better off calling the management companies on your own, but chances are you wont find anything like what Mathew has. He showed me two apartments, both within my price range in a leisurely manner that didn't make me feel like a broker scrutinizing and pressing to get their fee. All questions were answered with a great degree of consideration. If he has something in your price range cancel all of your other showings. I did and it was the best decision I made all month. Sweet landlord too.

Ty is the most amazing Broker ever!
After not hearing back from several Brokers, Ty responded to my inquiry within minutes. I literally needed to find a place in the Soho area within one day. Ty set up a full day of showings for me - he knew exactly what I was looking for and didn't deviate from my requests.
I ended up signing with the very first apartment he showed me! It was a hidden gemstone that I didn't even know existed :) I will absolutely use Ty again if I ever leave my amazing apartment. He's the best!

Robin is literally the best broken in NYC! She doesn't try to sell you anything you don't want--when you walk in an apartment she often will point out what is wrong with it first so that you can be fully aware of this and make the decision for yourself----she's super honest, super open, and very personable. I recommend giving her a call if you want to talk to a REAL person who will help you find what you are looking for! She helped my roommate and I find a great place on Franklin Avenue, which is exactly where we wanted to live---and she listened to us when we said we like the old stuff ! call this woman!

The thing that truly sets Narina apart from other people in this business is that she LISTENS. Narina's not interested in merely trying to sell you on whatever available apartments are left over on the market. She actually listens to your requests and finds options that fit what you're looking for in ways you didn't even express.
Narina was the first person out of several agents to get in touch with me during my initial search. And when we started looking at different options, she went out of her way to make sure I was the first person to see an apartment that suited me perfectly on the first day it was on the market.
Narina cares about her clients and is out there to make sure you're happy, not just to make a buck. Have used her twice now and would use her again.

I had been looking for an apartment for about a month when I responded to an ad Tyler posted for a one-bedroom apartment in Sunset Park. I had met quite a few morally dubious characters along the way but was relieved and impressed by Tyler's professionalism. I didn't end up taking the apartment I had initially wanted to look at, but he showed me several others, always conscious of my budget and my particular "must-haves." I never felt uncomfortable, or like I was being pressured into taking something I was not sure I wanted or could afford. The apartment I did take ended up needing some renovations, and Tyler and his broker Kathy Angelucci, always kept me in the loop -even when I happened to be out of the country- and advocated on my behalf when the remodel ran into some issues and my move-in date had to be postponed. Overall, I am very satisfied with my experience with Tyler and the Rapid Realty office at Sunset Park. I got exactly what I was looking for, and they made the experience (somewhat) less daunting and stressful.

York was extremely helpful. He responded to my inquiry immediately and answered all my questions. The same day I sent him a message in regards to an apartment he set up a viewing with me that afternoon. Though the apartment did not turn out to be what I was looking for, York helped me by offering to show another apartment that best accomodated my situation. The apartment was perfect. I applied the next day and was approved two days later. Thanks to York, within a week I was able to find an apartment. York is definitely the person to go to.

This young man is a first-class agent. He called me within an hour of my first inquiry in to him, he made an appointment with me to see a place that afternoon, and though the first place we saw was not exactly right for me, we found my apartment and put in an application that same afternoon (a Friday), and I was approved the following Monday.
After all the paperwork was over, he called me to make sure all was well. If you're looking for a place, York will listen when you tell him what you want and what your budget is, and he will do his best to meet your requirements.
When the time does come to move ever again, he will be the first call I make.

I would highly recommend her to anyone out there looking for an apartment to rent or buy. In the ocean of rental brokers Emile is one of the good guys, even after i had rented an apartment from another broker Emile still responded to my questions and was majorly helpful.
He is knowledgable, helpful in a non-BS way and went out of his way to seek rentals that met my criteria.

He was personable and easy-going to work with. I particularly like how he refined what he showed us by getting to know our tastes. Carey was so great, super understanding of our needs and extremely patient and kind through out the process. My fiance and I were being super picky and had a hard time expressing exactly what we were looking for, but Carey was able to figure out what it was we were looking for and show us places that would fit us. We spent a lot of time together and Carey was always professional but also fun and we really enjoyed apt shopping with her. The only reason we did not find an apartment was because we changed our mind and decided not to move to Brooklyn.

Gerry went above and beyond in my search. I was not able to physically see my apt so he actually skyped me and walked me through the entire apt. He was very responsive, patient and understanding. I am new to the NYC rental market and needed a lot of hand holding and guidance. He went above and beyond working with my movers and the property managers. One thing that I loved was that he was not pushy with me. He worked hard for me, but did not try to "sell" me on anything I didn't want just to make a commission. He even called afterwards to check up on me and my move. I HIGHLY recommend Gerry to anyone looking to partner with a professional that has the clients best interest at heart.

Before moving to new york I heard horrible stories about how hard it would be to find a good place that would be both affordable and not have me living in a box. I had also been warned that brokers would charge me lots of money and practically do no work. So before I called Gerry I have to admit I had my guards up. However after speaking with him I was immediately at ease. He took his time and listened to what my needs were and what my budget could afford. He was very knowledgeable of the different neighborhoods that I was hoping to move to, and even made other suggestions. He put together a great packet of possible apartments, and when we went out he had more than one place ready for me to see. He ended up being well worth the fee because he helped make my move here easy and I found a great place!

I recently worked with AC Lawrence to find an apartment in Midtown. I worked with Alexandru and Robert and they were both amazing and ended up finding us the perfect place. Coming from someone who has worked with PLENTY of brokers over the years and seen hundreds of apartments either out of our price range or in the wrong area, it was refreshing to work with two people who understand your needs and are willing to find what it is YOU want as opposed to whatever listings they have. It's such a stressful situation to find an apartment in NYC, it's wonderful to have two people helping you through the process and not pushing you into anything that you're not satisfied with, they really wanted to find the place that was perfect for me!

I just signed my lease for an apartment that he showed me. I met him and within 2 days he found me an apartment me and my room-mate loved. He was courteous, honest and very easy to approach. From the moment I sent the first email and interest in a few properties in NYC, Joel was always responding to me extremely fast. He found me my apartment at a fabulous rate and worked quickly to get all paperwork processed asap and get my place asap. He will work with your budget and answer all questions you have an explain the process clearly from start to finish, which isn't easy if you've never had a place in NYC before. He keeps you informed of everything that is going on from the apartment itself, to his work, to the landlord - all things are covered and very thorough. I would highly recommend him to everyone. I could not recommend a better realtor than Mike! This was the first time I moved out on my own post-college, so needless to say I was very nervous! I knew that if I wanted a reputable and nice apartment in the city, I would need to find a broker. Of course, I have heard that brokers have a reputation of rushing clients and selling the first thing they show to make their commission. I had the total opposite experience with Mike!
From start to finish, Mike made the apartment search process a much better experience for me. Mike possesses only the most professional qualities. He is fast to reply to every email, text, or call that he receives. I knew that he had a lot of clients when showing me apartments, so I was thankful that he never put my needs last, even though I was looking for a "starter apartment." The range of apartments that Mike can show his clients go from the most basic post-college apartment to the most luxurious superstar apartments you could dream of. Mike is willing to show his clients an array of choices in order to give them a picture of what their money can buy.
My favorite thing about Mike is he really gave me every option I could afford and talked me through the pros and cons of each place. Not many realtors are so personable. I used a few other brokers before him, and no one came close. As soon as apartments opened up in my price range he alerted me, and that is key when searching in the city. Places go fast, so acting with ample time was important.
I plan to recommend Mike to all my friends moving out for the first time, as well as all of my parents friends who live in Manhattan and are looking to upgrade their space. 5 out of 5 stars for Mike, no doubt!

My roommates and I worked with Michael quite a bit in our apartment hunt and it was an all around great experience. He found many great places that were in our budget (which was no easy feat) and was always available to answer questions. At one point there was an apartment a bit outside of our price range and he was able to work with his boss and the management company to work on a better deal that we would be able to afford. We really appreciated all of his work!

Edward is great. I was rude to him on the phone when we first met because i couldn't find the apartment. He walked all the way to the train stop to meet me. God bless him. The apartment didn't work out, but he kept my number and we texted backed and forth. He kept me in the loop and only showed me apartments he knew i would love (meaning gut renovated ones). He was very honest on the places he showed me and even provided his own personal input. He is very professional and friendly. I know a few friends in the market who are trying to move to Sunnyside Queens and i'd recommend they work with him over some of the other brokers. I worked with some pretty shady and rude ones, but i have to admit that Edward found me exactly what i had imagined in my head, and i didn't even have to verbalize what i wanted to him. Life in NY is expensive, so i tried to find an apartment with all the bells and whistles at a moderate price. The only let down was i tried super hard to bargain with him to knock off 50 bucks, even 5 bucks, but he wouldn't budge. His boss needs to give him a Blackberry so he can text clients more easily. I tried months to find a place on my own without a brokers fee, but i realized at the end that i wasn't having any luck, and i knew i had to work with someone in order to meet my requirements in what i wanted in a new apartment. Sunnyside is a pretty trendy and hot area, so a broker is a must. Even though some of the apartments in the area are insanely overpriced. I am so glad i found him. Give him a call because he is wonderful and friendly.

James and Alex were amazing people to work with. I'm a student who moved to the city a couple months ago and I have been searching for an apartment because my student housing was too expensive. I found an apartment online and contacted Alex, I told him my price range and he and James both found a number of apartments to show me that I could afford. Now, thanks to the two of them, I now have a beautiful Alcove Studio apartment in the heart of Midtown. I would recommend these guys, they're great! :)

Jen's great. She's like a Corgi: she's cute, personable, and she believes in you. 5 reasons why she's the best broker I've ever worked with:
1. Jen accepted a huge chunk of cash from me on a whirlwind of a promise that "Jen, I will find two roommates in 8 days to complete this swank Hugh Hefner of a Williamsburg loft." She accepted and it wasn't easy for either of us: me with the deposit down, her with the showing the apartment up until the very day the lease started. But when she says she'll make it work, she means that she'll make it work.
2. Jen's really patient. She'll drop what she's doing on the drop of a hat if you say "Hey! Jen! I'm talking with someone right now who wants to come see..." *VOOM* Jen's there.
3. Jen's therapeutic. Moving sucks enormously, especially if you're looking for roommates also. If you're looking for roommates also, you'll kind of need a shoulder, and she'll lend that shoulder.
4. Jen's your cool aunt. She's the aunt that's spiking your Martinelli's with Stoli underneath the Christmas dinner table.
5. Jen solves so many problems. I'm locked out of my apartment right now, and Jen's coming to let me into my apartment en route from a dinner with blood relatives. Blood relatives!!! This isn't the first, but the third time that she's done this.
If you're going to work with Aptsandlofts.com, I'd definitely recommend working with Jennifer because she'll work as hard as you do to get you into the apartment that you want.

After getting the run around from several other agents Steven came to my rescue. He was kind, soft spoken and professional. I didn't feel talked into anything. He actually listens to what you want and shows you exactly what your looking for even if it seems far fetched. I wanted a large 2bedroom in the east village for under 2500 with lots of windows. After all the other agents (and their were MANY) said it was impossible Steven found me 3 places to choose from. Moving in the city is the absolute worst but this guy made it as easy as possible. I'd use him again in a heartbeat!

Ms Martinez was very patient and diligent. She spent hours locating various apartments within my budget. Of all the agents I have dealt with, she put the least pressure on me and was the most accomodating. Unfortunately, my specifications and area shifted rather suddenly owing to a career chage thus I did not rent an apartment from Ms. Martinez. Regardless, in retrospect I was so impressed with this agent's work ethic, I had to take the time to give her a five star review!

Wow! I have had a hard time finding a place in NYC, and a harder time finding a reliable broker to work with. John on the other hand was a very informative broker, with a large variety of apartments to show me. What made him stand out more then other agents was the he did not pressure me to spend more then I want to, and understood what I needed in a place to live. He wasted no time, and only showed me things I liked. I ended up getting a great place at a reasonable rate. Whether you are looking for your first apartment, or trying to finally find somewhere to call home, I highly recommend using John service as your real estate representative.

Renee is the most amazing broker I have ever worked with! She made apartment hunting fun and easy, which was a huge relief after several unfortunate and just plain weird experiences.

She was so nice and kind and most definitely patient with me. I live in PA and had NO clue how to go about renting an apartment for my son. She got right on it for me and after our first day meeting we found the right apartment! Then the real work begins! Jo was so on top of everything. Richard replied to my inquiry almost immediately and within the hour, we had corresponded back and forth a few times. The fact that my roommate and I are students did not diminish the professionalism and respect with which we were treated.
The next day, Richard was able to pair me up with a colleague to show me three places, each of which was completely within the parameters I specified to him- no "close, buts" and no "everything but the price you wants." In short, he was careful not to waste my time. Calls, texts, and emails all received very quick replies. By chance, I secured a place on a separate lead, but Richard did everything right and I would absolutely recommend him.

When my girlfriend and I decided to move in together, Paula was my first call. Paula was one of the most professional agents i've ever worked with. During my hunt for an apartment, I had to deal with some sleazy agents but until I met Paula - she made all the bad apartments disappear. Super nice, super helpful. Seriously - if she's showing an apartment, you wont want to deal with anyone else.

Matt was an absolute pleasure to work with - professional, prompt and honest. He offered an educated view of the rental market and the buildings around lower Manhattan, and didn't stop sending me listings until I found the right fit. I also really appreciate that he was willing to try and negotiate on my behalf even when it was unlikely the building would lower the rental fee. Thanks to Matt, I ended up with an apartment that was even bigger than I'd hope to get and still stayed within my budget. Can't ask for much more than that.

Her and her sister make an amazing team! She cares about you and is constantly searching for new places to show you. Even if your requests are unreasonable she will give you many options and tell you the truth about the situation upfront. Will keep showing you places until you are 100% satisfied.

Update: Ok, now I can write more in my review because Ana found me my DREAM APARTMENT!! I cannot thank her enough for this. This broker is the most wonderful broker I have ever worked with and one of the BEST in New York. She is so kind, so thoughtful, and so easy to talk to! She really was looking out for what was best for me! As a girl in her 20's, safety was a big concern for me and she was so great about that! She told me one place she didn't want to show me because she wouldn't even want her kids to live there in that neighborhood. She was so helpful helping me navigate through everything and the manager we worked with was a little difficult so I called her after to ask her questions and she said she would contact the manager for me and if I ever have any problems I can talk to her and go to her office. Overall, I CANNOT thank her enough!! Thank you Ana for helping me find my dream apartment. I would recommend her to anyone.

Initially I tried to rent an apartment on my own. I went to Jacobson and another Management Company directly. I am shocked at how small the apartments are !!! It was a horrible experience, and they would not answer simple questions about square footage or a simple picture. I decided to bite the bullet and pay a fee.
I then discovered Naked Apartments after getting lied to by SEVERAL brokers on Craigslist. I contacted Deborah and she requested that I organize my paperwork. I was apprehensive, as that is not something I felt like doing at that moment.
Upon looking at my financials, she fully explained to me my options. She showed me 3 apartments that were SPACIOUS , in my area that I wanted , and most importantly , in my budget.
When I looked at the last apartment on the East Side I knew I wanted it! Another Tenant was there, but since my paperwork was ready I was able to take it off the market! Deborah treated me like I was her most important client (which I am sure I wasn't LoL) I will highly recommend her to anyone in the near future and I am happy I found a good broker in New York.

I have to thank Deborah for her hard work and effort to help me find my first apartment in New York. Recently relocating from the Midwest, I had a lot to learn about renting in the city. Deborah delivered as advertised! She did everything in her power to meet the high expectations I held for my first broker and gave me a crash course in the NYC real estate scene while showing me a handful of options. She communicated as I prefer, via email, and afforded me the extra time that secured my trust.
Unfortunately, the building management company that owns the fourth-floor walk-up apartment I selected refused to negotiate rent “a penny.” Available records revealed the listed rent at a 25% premium per sq ft above the average rent per sq ft of prior rental agreements in the same building. That difference raised too many questions about the value and maintenance I would anticipate from what I knew to be a poorly-reviewed building management company. My first search unraveled...
As I start my search for a broker and an apartment in New York City at square one, I wish to compliment Deborah on the genuine consideration and guidance she provided!

Dan was very responsive to the high demands that we were asking for. He was patient, understanding and willing to spend a lot of time with us. He frequently checked in with us and was honest about the apartments we were going to see. I never once felt like he was just "trying to sell." This was my 3rd time apartment hunting in NYC in the past 5 years and I can honestly that Dan is the most honest, professional, and punctual broker I have ever worked with.

I just moved to New York and had been looking for apartments for awhile. Everyone I know has been faced with the same frustrations of contacting agents only to be ignored or trying to fit apartment hunting around a busy work schedule.
I've been trying to move out of my housing situation as soon as possible when I stumbled across a listing on this site rather late at night. I sent off a quick inquiry and Zaghir actually responded in a few hours. I saw the apartment, met with Zaghir, and put in an application, all on a Sunday afternoon. The next day I had signed on a place within my budget range.
Zaghir works hours when other agents don't and is willing to fit around your schedule. He is professional, responsive, and honest. I will work with him in the future and would recommend others to do the same.

I was caught in an emergency situation, and had a week to find an apartment. I wasn’t sure that it would be possible to find an apartment that I would really like in such short notice. I saw a listing from Zaghir, and really like the details that he provided about the apartment. Zaghir was able to find me an amazing apartment, which fell in my price range, in less than a day! We had two weeks to find an apartment since the management company of our previous apartment wanted to gut the entire building and renovate it. Therefore, they did not renew the lease and put every tenant on notice. When we first emailed Donny, he was very responsive and showed us around the city. He got us our dream apartment and also negotiated with the management company to accept two law students. Most importantly, Donny was pleasant and patient and really worked with us to find us a place we were happy with. After we moved in, he even provided us with a small present for our new home and checked in with us to make sure everything was okay. He also made sure to contact the management company about the sink, since it needed to be replaced. One week into our new place, everything is fixed and ready to go!

Quick response, he was at the apartment at the time he said he would be there. He also sent me a text confirmation on the day of our appointment - which made me feel assured that he would really be there to show the apartment. When I expressed interest in another apartment he was showing, he also texted me on the day of (which was a few days later) to ask whether I would come in to see it or not. My rating for John is short 1 star only because I didn't end up renting from him and can't give a full rating based on just the 5 min. that I met him. Hope he is great afterwards too.

John was an incredibly helpful, friendly and efficient broker to work with. I responded to a listing and within hours he replied that I could take a look at a one-bedroom, Lower East Side apartment the next day. I was feeling apprehensive about the cost, location, and conditions of the apartment, as it was within my price range and rent stabilized. I knew I was looking for a unicorn in NY with my price range for a one-bedroom or studio, so I met John and he showed me a great apartment. He made himself available after regular work hours, answered all my questions, helped me find a great place within days. He even met me on a Saturday to sign the lease, and gave me a bottle of skotch whiskey (a very nice and unexpected gesture). He also let me know he'd stay in touch about next steps for moving in, putting me in touch with the landlord and getting the keys. Overall I highly recommend working with John as he was very easy to work with, was very clear about the paperwork I needed to have in order! It was by far a smoother process than any other experience I've had in finding an apartment, and I'm so excited to move into this new place! Thanks John!

Working with William is a breath of fresh air if you've had any experience working with brokers in NYC. I would recommend him to anyone. He is honest, hardworking, patient, and will be your advocate. You will save tons of time and money if you work with him. I spent weeks getting the run around with other brokers on bait and switch listings. Will is totally transparent and realistic with everything, so within a couple days and no time wasted he found me and my roommates the perfect apartment and helped us negotiate the price to something we could afford. Will is hands down the best broker in NYC

Will made the apartment search far more easy than I expected it to be. I was searching for a two bedroom apartment with my roommate, and Will was beyond helpful. He stuck to our price range and other criterion perfectly, which I appreciate very much. Will works around the clock and his service is impeccable. We moved a couple weeks ago and since then he has continued to help us with other hardships related to the moving process, but are out out his job description. Will is certainly as good as it gets.

After showing me two apartments and getting a feel for what I liked and didn't like, Janet showed me the building of an apartment she thought I would like. I had lived with roommates since 2007; with a job promotion and a salary increase I finally resolved to get my own place this year. Not being the biggest fan of Craigslist and having a short period to secure a place, a decided a broker was the best route. I approached several brokers at various agencies, including a few on this site, but my experiences left me exasperated...some made me feel inferior because of my budget, some were not upfront with fees, some seemed unfriendly and unapproachable, some seemed in such a hurry to 'get a sale' they were barely listening to me. On a Saturday in February, I spent 5 hours at a broker's firm, signing documents, handing over paperwork, forms of ID, and going through a drudgery of questions that made me uncomfortable and distrusting of the brokers and the whole rental process. In the end I turned down an apartment I liked, simply because I felt there was too much "fine print" that was not being explained to me.
The next day, a Sunday, I sent a random email to Moses inquiring about a listing I saw on Naked Apartments. The plisse sounded perfect - great price, location, charm and amenities. The next morning, Monday, I received a response: the apt had an application pending on it, but I was invited to contact him again in a few days to see if it went through. I was impressed with Moses already at this point because the response was fast and polite.
Lucky for me, the pending application did not go through. By this time, mid-February or so, Moses knew I really wanted the apartment and knew we had to act quickly. Through his busy days of meetings and other renter appointments, he kindly took time to explain to me exactly what was required to apply, the exact fees I needed, and - most important to me - what timeframes to expect, and what specific legal and rental language meant. I'm the type who prefers facts and figures rather than 'gray areas' - and the honest truth, facts and figures are what Moses always gave me.
In the interest of time and convenience, Moses offered prompt and courteous communication via email or text - a bonus for me because of my late work hours. He arranged everything for me; I honestly feel like the whole process was effortless and smooth, from emailing me the application, to arranging my viewing with the Super, to handing in the required fees.
Moses' openness and honesty is a rarity! He explained everything, and not just what I wanted to hear - but even things like what my options were if I was not approved, and that once everything was submitted there was nothing more we could do than to simply wait for the landlord/owner's answer.
Most fortunately for me, I was approved! Moshe promptly delivered the good news, and then immediately proceeded to guide me in the next steps. This being my very first rental in NYC, I was very appreciative of his efforts. He was approachable, welcoming my many nervous questions. He arranged the lease sgning just a day or two later, and even called me the weekend of my move, March 1, to ask me how things went and if I had any concerns.
I highly recommend Moses for anyone seeking an apartments! I've already given his name to several colleagues at work. If you need a place, believe me, your search WILL end with him! My apartment is everything he said it would be: clean, basic, great hood, safe for my teen daughter. Moses' kind, highly knowledgable and more than capable assistance and support helped me score a gem of an apartment!
Moses is the only broker I will work with from now on.

I found Dana Schneider at DreamSpace realty to be very professional and patient. He was willing to work with us on our move-in date and he sufficiently answered all my questions regarding the building and the lease (never fun and always stressful to sign a lease in this city). I was looking for an apartment in Tribeca and Sebastian was the agent that helped me. He was very efficient in findingan apartment that matched my needs. Me and my room mates wanted an apartment with a large courtyard where we could barbecue and not bother the neighbors. Within hours after calling he had suggestions. We ended up signing for one of them. If you're looking for a quick and smooth transition on Manhattan no further. No one knows Soho, Tribeca, and The Village better than Sebastian and the guys at Home New York.

I cannot recommend Iryna highly enough. I just moved to NYC from Germany 3 weeks ago and I was shocked by the rent, the fees and requirements for an apartment in NYC. Before I met Iryna, I dealt with other brokers, which was a disappointing experience. Most of them rushed through the apartments without any comment and gave me the feeling that is just about their fee. Even one did not show up at all.
Iryna, in contrast, is the total opposite. She was very friendly and charming and even we had only an appointment for one apartment, she took me to 3 other across the city and spent 3 hours with me. She never rushed me and it was more like a friend showing me the area and the apartments. Additionally she gave me useful tips about getting started in NYC.
In summary, I fully recommend Iryna to every person, who is looking for a very nice, honest broker, who really cares!!!!

I currently live in PA and was looking for an apartment in NYC and I did not know who to turn to, even trust. I had to go online and find a broker, which was scary for me because of all the horrible stories I heard. With no where to turn, I took my chance and found Iryna. My experience has been wonderful. She is really nice and a professonal broker. She listen to my needs and was very patient. I told her being that I live in PA, my husband and I needed to see as many apartments possible in one day. She showed me a lot of nice apartment within my price range. The first apartment I did not get approved for and my money I put down was given right back to me with no problem. She quickly summit my application for my second choice apartment, which I did get and I am happy with. I would have never thought I would find an apartment within a week. She is such a joy to work with and trust worthy. I will always have her number in my phone incase I decide to buy in NYC because she is the only real estate agent I will ever want to work with. Thank you Iryna for everything. I wanted an apartment in NYC for years and with me working so many long hours and living far, you have made it easy for me. Anytime I needed to call you, you never ignore my call. GOD BLESS YOU in your career because there are not many people with a true heart like you. I know this is your job but I never felt once you wanted to make a quick sell and that was it. I always felt you were more concern about me getting what I wanted and I did and really quick. If I could give you 100 stars I would have.

My experience working with Phillip was so excellent I really cannot recommend him enough. From the start, he was kind, personable, and straightforward (not to mention punctual!) I never got the sense that he was trying to sell me more than I got. At every point in the application process he took care to explain to me what was needed and why. He was always prompt to respond to me, regularly updated me on my application status, and never made me feel that my increasingly frequent text questions were unreasonable. On lease signing he made sure to answer any questions about the paperwork I had, and his enthusiasm made me forget the gut-wrenching financial transaction and instead focus on celebration!
Maybe I have been really going to the wrong place for apartment hunting in the past, but as small fry in the renting market, I've never been treated this well and had such a smooth process finding an apartment in NYC. Thanks, Phillip!

Raheel was great! Showed us places we hadn't seen listings for, was honest with us about which apartments were already in process, and negotiated a better rental price according to his understanding of the market. His office handled our transaction smoothly and courteously, and we managed to negotiate on the broker fee as well - and we are now living in a wonderful apartment! Would definitely use him again, and this Rapid office is worlds better than any of the others I've dealt with over the last few years.

Patrick was just great to work with. Real hustle. Real initiative. Great attitude. Straight up information and listened to what I needed. If you're looking in his part of the city, you couldn't get a better man on your side. The only reason I didn't rent from a listing of his is that he didn't rep the area I ended up in. But, the next time I'm looking, he'll be my first call.

Patrick was extremely easy to work with. I was looking to rent a 3br with a couple buddies and he was very flexible with meeting times and locations. He was able to get together a few really nice spots that matched our criteria on short notice and took all the time we needed to ask questions and look through the apartments.
When we decided on a place, Patrick was very responsive to any question on paperwork or fees associated with the process and was very transparent.
We ran into a slight issue when we were outbid for the apartment we wanted, but Patrick was more than willing to work with us and the landlord to sort out the issue, eventually making concessions on his end to have the overall price of the apartment (rent + broker fee) increase only marginally so that we could still afford the place. We eventually landed the apartment and were content with how the situation was handled.
Overall, Patrick was flexible, efficient and friendly throughout the entire process and I would highly recommend him.

Rae was such a pleasure to work with. She made this move from California so easy, she meant us at our new apartment and took us all around to make sure my son knew how to find his new college, where the closes stores were, how to get to the subway, and even told him the buses he would need to take to get to school. My son said when he's done with college and is looking for a bigger apartment he would for sure use Rae again.
Rae is the type of person who goes above the call of her job! She is one of the best! If your looking for a realtor to get the job done, Rae is the person. Even after being in the apartment she follows-up to make sure all is well.....that is a rare thing with realtors.

I read Bijan's reviews and contacted him with hopes of finding a reliable, trustworthy and patient broker and he met all of those expectations. He was real and honest, which is hard to find in this crazy market. I ended up finding an apartment on my own, but the process with him was really great. Highly recommended.

I just rented an apartment that Bijan showed me in the East Village. He was great to work with throughout the entire process. We met as his office to do some quick paperwork, and he showed me three apartments. He was very quick with the keys and was very polite and professional. One of them was fantastic and exclusive to his agency. I looked at a few other places afterwards, and put in an application on his apartment a few hours later. I was confirmed for the apartment by the next day.
Bijan said that he loves seeing people happy when they get an apartment they love, and it's true. He was a pleasure to work with from the beginning of the process through to the end. I definitely recommend working with him.

He did everything that my Mom asked for. He taught her good lessons, and when things got heavy calmed her down right away. John proved to be a very knowledgable, personable, and proactive broker. After we discussed what I was looking for, he took the time (overnight?) to line up a bunch of places for me to see. He easily adapted and helped narrow down the search based on my preferences and showed a great knowledge of the neighborhoods in Manhattan as well as Queens. If you're in the market for an apartment, I strongly recommend giving him a call!

Jennifer was wonderful and incredibly sweet. We had a few mixups as far as scheduling viewing the apartment, but it all worked out in the end. I didn't end up taking the apartment, but my decision had nothing to do with the broker experience -- the apartment just wasn't right for me.

Short version: Chris was great and it would be hard to do better than him.
Long version: After sending an inquiry to Chris he got back to me within hours. The next day we started the hunt. Chris was always quick to respond to emails and phone calls and he always followed through with his promises. We got to see several apartments in our price range and finally found the one. The application process was painless, as was the lease signing. I was dreading this move, but, overall, working with a professional like Chris was an excellent experience and made the search pain free. I would recommend him to anyone. Thanks Chris!

Just days after hurricane Sandy, I was stuck in a tight spot, I needed to find a new place fast. I was looking for a spacious apartment in manhattan with nice finishes/amenities on a tight budget. As many of you probably know by now, that is not an easy task. Not only did he deliver on the apartments, he was also prompt and responsive every step of the way. This was far and away a different experience from others I have dealt with before, especially in light of the circumstances surrounding the storm. In the end, I did not rent through Larry because I really like my current apartment building and a more affordable option opened up here. Larry is an exceptional broker-organized and genuinely helps you weigh your options and find a good match (even if it means that you don't rent through him). I will definitely give him a call next time I am looking.

We had the pleasure of working with Larry Mackler at Anchor and it was an awesome experience! We were referred to him through one of my friends and from the beginning he was extremely helpful and patient. We spent a couple of days seeing about 10 apartments and Larry was always very positive and upbeat the whole time. He was very professional and responsive to all my questions and concerns. In the end, we found a beautiful spacious one bedroom in a small doorman building on the Upper West Side. We are in love with our apartment. We barely shut the blinds because the views are so extraordinary at all hours. I am so grateful that Larry knew to show us this place and that he helped us win it even when it seemed sure it was going to another couple!! We are extremely happy with his services and are going to recommend him to all our friends and family!
