Eryn Korby (but just call her "Korby") gets the best job done for her clients by combining real estate savvy, logistics acumen, and a true passion for and knowledge of not only properties themselves, but the neighborhoods which surround them. Having lived in many NYC neibs over the years, from Chelsea and Midtown West to the Lower East Side, East Village, and even Coney Island, her experiences here have given her broad and personal insight on how different areas can serve her clients' unique needs. Korby loves working with properties in emerging neighborhoods and is an advocate of innovative, adaptive re-use of historical sites and buildings.
Korby's goal is to guide clients smoothly through what can be a stressful time by clearly, honestly, and openly communicating each step of an otherwise hectic and confusing process. She seeks to deliver an extraordinary level of service and achieve the best and most satisfying results for the people she represents. Korby's previous career in the entertainment industry has proved her talent for multitasking, networking, and maintaining client relationships. In the music business she worked with bold faced names like Prince and Britney Spears. As a reality television production pro she worked on shows including Project Runway and Jerseylicious. And as senior producer for an experiential marketing agency, Korby has worked with some of the worlds biggest consumer brands including Google, Coca-Cola, Dos XX, Kenneth Cole, and Bacardi. Having managed a multitude of live events, she adapts and reacts quickly to unexpected hurdles and last minute changes, and is accustomed to working on projects with several moving parts. She even has the honor of sharing the small screen with celebrity chef, author, and personality Anthony Bourdain, when she played the part of "The Rock Concierge" on a 2005 episode of Anthony Bourdain: No Reservations. In October 2012 Bourdain named the very first bar Korby took him to as one of the five best bars on earth on the Food and Wine website. Korby got her first taste of real estate working for her mother, a longtime agent, at a sales office and model home for a luxury community during high school summers in Michigan. In 1997 she moved to New York City where she attended and graduated from New York University's Gallatin School, with a degree in Sociology and Popular Culture. After a few years in the music business, Korby moved to Las Vegas in and became a fixture on the local arts and media scene. In fact the Las Vegas Weekly once called Korby "The Love Boat's cruise director Julie, as played by Joan Jett."
But as a home buyer in Vegas' boom year of 2005, Korby found that without knowledgeable and trustworthy people in your corner, the world of real estate can be a beast to navigate. In the crash of 2008 she learned the hard way the importance of being educated about the ever-changing market, and now instills this knowledge in her clients at every opportunity.
