Kathy O'Shea, a Native New Yorker born and raised in Manhattan, has been a very active member of community mentoring and assisting her fellow neighbors. Her Father, Thomas Colleran, was a Highly Decorated Detective in the 25th Precinct for 20 years in Harlem. Her Mother, Katherine, worked as an Office Manager at the Animal Clinic of New York servicing the Upper East Side.
Raising two wonderful boys as a Single Mother, Kathy was very involved in their activities and programs as well as taking on the role as President (1995-2001) of the Lenox Hill Neighborhood Association After School PAC Program serving 180 children. She also served as Captain & Special Events Associate Planner for the Yorkville Youth Athletic Association and Little League Baseball & Basketball Coach in Yorkville. Through networking and great team work, Kathy has made it possible for 1300 children with their families to attend YYAAs Annual Yankee Stadium Little League Baseball Game each year.
Taking on the role of Executive Assistant to the Chairman of Pathology at Cornell University Medical College specializing in Kaposis Sarcoma & Aids Lymphoma in 1994, Kathy joined Pfizer Pharmaceuticals two years later in 1996, supporting the Medical Director of the Consumer Health Care Group handling all studies for Pfizer products and Rx-to-OTC Medicines.
Corporate Mergers offered Kathy an even more challenging endeavor when she joined the Pfizer Womens Health Group working with Marketing and Public Relations of all Womens Health Initiatives. (Womens Health & Wellness, Nutrition Fairs, and coordination of very prominent events such as the United Way, The Race for the Cure, and The American Heart Walk for Pfizer Corporate Headquarters. With over 28 Years of experience in the Corporate & Medical Fields, Continuion Courses in Leadership has provided Kathy with additional tools for success. She utilizes her extensive knowledge, strength, and determination to be more productive in managing every project while reaching for the stars. Simultaneously, Kathy also strives in making a difference for all those in her presence.
Kathy is the Proud Recipient of the 1998 Elizabeth Rohatyn Community Service Award for Outstanding Community Service to the Upper East Side. (Elizabeth Rohatyn, Wife of Felix Rohatyn, Ambassador to France, served as a long-Time board member and Honorary Chair of LHNA.)
As her Role as Special Events Manager, Kathy offers her Specialty Services for Kiddie & Adult Karaoke Parties for all Occasions and is a still a very active member of the community to date.
