Descriptions of 640 Ditmas Ave

This neighborhood's Victorian mansions and quiet side streets evoke a pastoral charm, but its commercial corridors remind you that you've made it to the 21st century. There's a central Brooklyn neighborhood where you can hitch up your horse at an early 1900s barn. Luckily, its shops (and Manhattan) aren't difficult to access thanks to the F train. The area is served by one train option. Ed Hassan (Feb 2013)
The F train runs along the western part of the neighborhood with stops at Fort Hamilton Parkway, Ditmas Avenue, and 18th Avenue. Pre-war building. Neighborhood. Steve Desmaret (Jul 2011)

Close to Prospect Park, Cortelyou restaurant strip and only 24 minutes to Manhattan. Well cared for Pre-War building close to Ditmas F train. Lots of shopping and restaurants. Easy Access to F B Q trains. Simon Day (Jul 2013)
