Descriptions of 534 Flatbush Ave

Excellent location offers a short subway trip to Manhattan by the B/Q train at Newkirk Avenue, many shops, eateries, a supermarket and a post office at Newkirk Plaza and is a short walk to Brooklyn College, Target Shopping Mall and the emerging restaurant row on Cortelyou Road. Heat and hot water are included in the rent, the building is equipped with an onsite super, and laundry facilities are in the basement. Kevin Cameron (Apr 2014)
As far as transportation is concerned, the 2 and 5 trains at Winthrop and Sterling Street, the Q train at Parkside Avenue and the B, Q and Shuttle trains at Prospect Park are the options offered in Prospect Lefferts Garden. Originally, the area was originally settled by a family in 1660 but in 1893 the Lefferts estate was divided by James Lefferts into six hundred building lots, now known as Lefferts Manor. By 1979, Lefferts Manor and parts of Lefferts Avenue and Sterling Street were granted landmark status by the New York City Landmarks Preservation Commission. One Block from Prospect Park, half a Block from the B and Q Train and across the street from groceries and laundry mats. In 2012, the Q train was named the most reliable train by News Channel 12. Michael Grant (Aug 2012)
Based on its proximity to prospect Park and how close it is to the B Q and S trains makes this a restauranteurs dream. 49 and 51 Lincoln Road Storefronts on Lincoln Road are currently combined as a Bar/Lounge and Restaurant space. This up and coming area is in need of some great restaurants. Building has a shared roof deck and laundry on every floor. Steve Halpern (Mar 2013)
you're less than a block from Prospect Park and the B/Q/S trains. Did I mention that your cat and dog are welcome too. Andrew Smith (Jan 2014)
