To its north lies, to the south to its west, and to its east The interior portion of the neighborhood consists mostly of-style residential rowhouse buildings, some built as early as 1890, although some blocks, such as Lincoln and St. Roof Top Access, Elevator Building, Laundry On Site, Pet Friendly, Just one Block form the Bergen 2/3 and B/Q Trains. Renovations of older brownstones and new construction have made this neighborhood bordering Prospect Park very desirable for newcomers, as well as Manhattanites looking for more bang for their buck and a short commute to the city. Of course, the main attraction in the neighborhood is Prospect Park itself, a 585-acre park which hosts free outdoor concerts in the summertime and various sports and fitness activities, including seven baseball fields. Prospect Park is just 25 minutes to 14th Street in Manhattan and serviced by the 1, 2, and 4 (late night) trains from Grand Army Plaza, plus the 1, 2, 4 (late night) from Eastern Parkway and Bergen.
