Yogi Shmuel enjoys working with renters and first-time home seekers, giving them a thorough overview of the market and letting them know what's trending in their price and neighborhood range. By providing a full understanding of the process and 24/7 accessibility, he makes clients who are new to and experienced in the market feel comfortable and confident in their decisions.    "To be successful in real estate, you must consistently put the needs of your clients first," he says. "When you do, your personal needs will be met beyond your greatest expectations, and you'll be rewarded with loyal clients for life."   Yogi is devoted to his clients' needs as much as he is to the real estate business. He came to Citi Habitats with several years of international real estate experience, and prior to that always worked in sales, management and customer service-related roles.   Originally from Israel, Yogi speaks fluent Hebrew and English. I used David Gibbs and Yogi to help find my apartment. My search parameters changed several times, and they were responsive and eager to please. They found good listings and helped me get the apartment I wanted. Would highly recommend this team. They are super-responsive, easy to work with and friendly.

Yogi was really wonderful. Most brokers I've met with or attempted to work with are clearly after their own agenda and push their inventory on you. Yogi listened to what we wanted, asked us what our non-negotiables were and was realistic in what we could expect to find. He found us our dream apartment and couldn't be any happier. He even sat with me and waited at the leasing office to sign our papers and walked us through the entire process. Highly recommended. I'm referring him to all of my friends!

Simply put, Yogi is the MAN! Some brokers might be responsive, and others might be helpful, but Yogi was always both. He showed us what we wanted, always within our price range, and gave 100% every time. He made an otherwise painful experience very easy, and it felt like working with a friend and not some stranger.

If you are just getting started with your apartment search and feel like a broker is the best way to go, then you HAVE to call Yogi.

We all know how frustrating and grueling looking for an apartment in New York can be. I've searched online and eventually decided to try Citi Habitats in Chelsea and boy i'm glad i did, for one specific reason, and that reason is Yogi. This guy was born for this job, he's got so much knowledge about the city you won't have a dull moment with him. In addition, Yogi is a very clever guy, extremely patient, sympathetic and available to respond even after hours. Yogi have found my perfect apartment on the upper east side, with even cheaper rent that i originally planed on. I would definitely recommend this guy for anyone who's looking to make a search for an apartment into a delightful, free of pain experience.

Yogi is the best broker I've worked with in NYC. He listened to my needs, communicated with me constantly and found a fantastic apartment for me in less than 24 hours! We had my new lease signed within six days of our first meeting.

My experience with Yogi was 100% positive, and I really appreciate his dedication and follow-through. He was friendly and knowledgeable, while also ensuring my concerns were addressed. I highly recommend him to any apartment-hunters in NYC.

Before meeting Yogi, I've worked with 4-5 other brokers (from Bond, AC Lawrence and others) in NY trying to find my girlfriend and I (both 28) a 1 bedroom in Chelsea. Some brokers were OK, some were horrible, many were jerks.

My experience with Yogi was vastly different from the other agents. He showed us around the neighborhoods we wanted, he recommended apartments based on our preferences and kept track of what we liked and did not like. He's always courteous, very responsive via email/phone/text and answers any questions you may have.

From my experience, working with brokers is a necessary evil - they have access to the best apartments. But there are very few, like Yogi, who actually work for their money. After closing on my new apartment this week, my only regret is that Yogi had to split his broker fee with another agency - for the amount of work and dedication he put in getting us a new place, I would have liked for the whole sum to go to him.

Yogi is both the ultimate professional and your good friend who will do whatever it takes to make you happy and comfortable in your new place.

It was a pleasure working with you!

When I started the painful search of the perfect apartment in New York, I came across a number of brokers with some less than desirable qualities. Thankfully, Yogi was not one of them. He was the ultimate professional and importantly he listened to my long list of wants and don't wants and was not pushy. Overall, easy to work with, knowledgeable about all the areas I was looking in and does his best to get everything you ask for. To the important question, would I recommend him if you're looking for an apartment? Yes.
Thanks Yogi-bear!!

I am not one to leave reviews but felt as though I needed to for Yogi. I honestly only have positive things to say about Yogi. I am used to not being able to trust agents, so I will often feel as though we are working for separate teams. I recently moved to the city and a friend referred me to Yogi. He couldn't have made the process easier. He was completely open and honest about everything and truly does subscribe to the "if the client wins, I win" philosophy. He was available 24/7 for us; my girlfriend even called him at 1 am with a question, which he answered. He is incredibly knowledgeable about the properties and city. On top of all of this he is an incredibly nice person who is a true pleasure to work with. I would recommend him to everyone.
