Trisha was extremely helpful and pleasant throughout the entire process. She helped me find an amazing studio in the upper east side (no fee). Trisha was responsive to all my inquiries and I had no question unanswered. I am the happiest I have been to date with my new living situation, and although I may want to say there was a level of luck involved, I am very grateful that Trisha was there to help me with this process and I couldn't have done it without her. I highly recommend Trisha to anyone looking for high quality apartments in NYC

We were living in CA, and planning a move back to the Upper East Side, but incredibly nervous about attempting to find our new home from across the country. We were very lucky to have found Trisha, who, from our very first phone call, not only proved that she was an expert in UES realty, but also someone that we could trust to lead us through this process. She eliminated the stress we had felt finding a home, quickly found properties that worked for us and met our family''s needs, sent us video tours, talked to us on west coast time, arranged times for our friends already living on the UES to check out the properties on our behalf, and gave us suggestions and recommendations that quickly landed us an amazing new home. And even after earning her broker fee, she went above and beyond the call of duty when she helped us work through the condo approval board in 5 days instead of the usual 15, and she kept us up to date on the progress the entire time.

If you're looking for a home on the UES, just work with Trisha. She''s amazing, kind, and tenacious.

I'm writing this review because good apartment finding experiences are possible!! Trisha is the first one who told me this, and I am now a believer!!

Some background: I moved to NYC from Westchester two years ago and had a typical New York rental experience. I found a too good to be true place online, they wanted money wired to them so I backed out. My next step was contacting a broker from one of the listing sites, but of course "that apartment has just rented but I've got similar ones I can show you"... and into the dark desolate buildings we went. I saw places out of horror movies. Then one decent one, so of course, I signed on the spot. The broker (no idea what his name was) was then impossible to get in touch with, acted like I was wasting his time.. and I paid him almost two months rent for this!!! Friends I spoke to said this was the typical New York moving experience. Sooo I renewed my lease, figuring I would just stay in my (old) apartment until I died. I vowed never again would I brave the rental market in NYC... and then, my lease renewal came. They wanted hundreds more to re-sign, and I couldn't afford it.

So I panicked.

Then I started my search again. Craigstlist, open houses and what not. There was absolutely nothing. I posted on facebook, tweeted, emailed friends of my boss, even replied to notices around my neighborhood. Absolutely nothing. I figured maybe leave Manhattan - the commute to work would suck (once again) but my move out date was rapidly approaching and I needed a home, anything would do. Survival mode kicked in. A roof over my head would suffice, I didn't care about anything else. I started sending my stuff to storage, spent endless nights searching for cheap liveable places, started putting out feelers for couches to crash on. It got bad, and I was miserable.

Then I got in touch with Trisha. We met up, and it was like a huge load was taken off my shoulders, instantly. I stopped looking for couches to crash on, if that says anything! First and foremost, Trisha explained how the rental market in NYC works. Understanding the demon we were dealing with was the first part of the hurdle - I always knew "it's impossible to find an apartment" but Trisha explained exactly why the market moves so quickly, and how she could manipulate this in my best interest. It was like I had an inside man, looking out for me, and waiting to pounce the second an ideal apartment came on the market. We were working the system!!! I actually had tears the first place she emailed to me, it was hundreds of dollars cheaper than my current place, and was bigger, and nicer. I could not believe places like that existed in my price range - places like this didn't even exist as a bait and switch!!! And she kept sending these places!! I was actually turning down places nicer than my apartment at the time (beautiful place), I felt empowered, I actually had a choice and felt like I was able to get something for my money.

As we approached our goal "find a place" date, we found an absolutely amazing apartment. It was a few blocks from my job, was listed as a studio but I think closer to 1-bed (it has a huge bonus room, this apt takes up half the floor!), windows in every room, this place looked perfect. Almost too good to be true. So we came up with a game plan to make it mine! I applied and had a few hurdles, I thought I was the ideal tenant but turns out a couple of things had changed since I moved 2 years prior, and was no longer the "ideal" tenant on paper. I was probably the most annoying person on the planet to Trisha that week - the emotional roller coaster of loving a place but not wanting to fall in love in case it fell thru, but also kinda needing it to go thru because otherwise I had nowhere to move/live.. oh my lord, I needed a therapist! Trisha and I spoke probably 10 times a day, and she explained every single step so I understood what was going on. The landlord and Trisha got on wonderfully, he absolutely loved her - I'm convinced I got the place because he wanted to do business with her- and I don't blame him! He easily could have turned down my less than perfect application for one of the open house people, but I found Trisha such a joy to work with, that I'm betting he felt the same way. Why would anyone work with one of the dime a dozen Craigslist guys (like I did 2 years ago) when agents like Trisha are out there?

I went to sign the lease right after the apartment's open house ended.. no one else who saw it had a chance, because I was the first applicant! I almost felt bad for them, I'd been an open house visitor just a month prior, with all my papers ready and everything.. just like these guys! Little did they know my application had been filed days ago. I believe at the time I signed the lease, the apartment had been on all the major websites for maybe 24 hours. I was the person who'd gotten the too good to be true place! Once my lease was signed, Trisha then made sure I was set with all of the other stuff - movers, storage, etc etc - the entire experience was actually (dare I say it) fun?!!! I've approaching my second month here and this is the absolute best apartment I've ever lived in. The only reason I would ever consider moving again is if Trisha is available to help, otherwise, never ever leaving!!

I cannot say enough good things about Trisha .. finding your home is a big decision, it's your sanctuary at the end of the work day, and you should love it. Real estate in NYC is a beast that is different than any other market in the country - you need a professional who knows what she's doing to look out for you. You need someone who knows the ins and outs of the system, and you need someone who's going to work the system in your best interest.

Apartment seekers: there ARE great places out there, and they can be yours if you have Trisha helping you! You can find a place like Monica & Rachel had on Friends. You don't have to pay 3/4 of your salary for a place where you can touch both walls at the same time! As an adult, you don't have to sleep on a bunk bed!! All of these things are possible with Trisha's help.

I have to say my experience working with Trisha was amazing! She was very helpful and trustworthy when it came to asking questions and was available at any time I called or emailed her for more information. Not only was the process a breeze, but it was actually enjoyable (which is the opposite of what I have heard about finding an apartment in NYC). Since moving in Trisha has also made it a point to reach out to see if I needed anything. On top of having a wonderful experience finding the apartment, it happened to be the only one I looked at and has everything I wanted and needed in a home.

I would like to recommend the services of real estate salesperson, Trisha Pagliaro with Keller Williams. Trisha recently helped me with locating an apartment in the UES. She was extremely professional. Trisha was patient, not pushy, knowledgeable, and kind. I was moving to NYC on a job transfer from Florida and Trisha was excellent in guiding me through the process and negotiating with the landlord. Trisha really went above and beyond. The apartment I selected was missing the stove in the kitchen...not only did Trisha communicate with the landlord to make sure it was taken care of...she also visited the apartment personally and made sure it was right. This was very unexpected. Trisha was a pleasure to work with. In a city with an extremely difficult rental market I feel very lucky to have had the assistance of Trisha. I give her my strongest recommendation.

Not only was she prepared with various apartments, which fit the criteria I sent her, but she even brought Starbucks coffee! As a bonus, she also gave us great recommendations for food and nightlife.
