Tom did a great job in really asking us the right questions to map out what apartments to show us. He spent ample time with us and was really a great guy. He knows the neighborhood, and is happy to be completely honest with you about how your check list and budget fits into the reality of the neighborhood. We didn't end up getting an apartment through him, as we ended up in LIC, but he was a very helpful resource as we were making our decisions.

It was my first time looking for a place in Manhattan, and Tom gave me a very frank description of how the market works, and now thinking back, it definitely helped me and my roommate in terms of making decisions regarding leasing. He had the same frankness to all of our questions, and we could trust his answers. Tom was great at finding fresh apartments that fit our preferences. The apartment we are leasing was on the market only for one day, and it was perfect for us! He knows the area very well, and he knew listings that other brokers did not know about. He was extremely helpful with putting the application together and answered all of our questions before and after we signed the lease.

Tom was quick and responsive; however, he did not show me apartments in different neighborhoods as I requested. Regardless, we were still able to find a nice apartment.

All I can say is "Thank you Tom!"... Tom was by far the best broker I've worked with. I found him here on NakedApartments and after working with brokers who just annoyed me or took me to places that were not even remotely close to what I was looking for, finding Tom was such a relief. Tom knew the market and took time to understand what I was looking for. I was looking for value and space in Gramercy/Murray Hill area. I didn't want to look at 1000 apartments, I wanted to see the best 3 apartments he had in my price range. We looked at 2 places that were in my price range and both were exactly what I was looking for. We put in application on the first apartment I saw... This is where Tom's experience and dedication for his job really came through. Since he has such a vast knowledge of the rental market, he knows a lot of the rental managers. He called the rental office before we even started to fill out the application to let them know that an application was on its way. He sat with me to write the application, made sure all my documents were exactly what the rental office wanted to see and then hand delivered the rental application to the rental office and waited there to make sure my application was the first one in. Entirely thanks to Tom I got a great apartment!
