Sean Copello is a lifelong New Yorker who spent the better part of his life wandering the streets and back alleys of the greatest city in the world. His in-depth knowledge, coupled with his penchant for service and well-rounded understanding of the latest technologies, gives him a distinct advantage in helping clients maximize their real estate experience.   As any true New Yorker knows, time here is of the essence; which is why Sean strives to make your search as efficient as possible. 'Clients don't have time to look at homes they have no interest in living in. I'm dedicated to getting as much information as possible about their needs as well as about the current inventory before I show any apartment.'   An obsessive consumer of information, Sean continually educates himself on market trends and other facets of a city that is in a constant state of change. Thanks to his hyper-vigilance and dedication to staying on top of inventory, you will definitely leave an appointment with him with a better understanding of the city, and what your options are. When handling his own listings, Sean further capitalizes on this strength with a personal website that offers lots of information, HD photos and video tours of his listings, viewable via computer and mobile phone. 'You can look at 10 apartments in 10 minutes on your phone and see just how far your money will go in NYC.'   Sean is the kind of agent who eats, drinks and sleeps with real estate on his mind. He not only has a strong command of the market, but is masterful at maintaining relationships, thinking creatively to find new solutions, and searching for ways to get an edge on the competition. Born in the Bronx and raised in  Queens, Sean has also lived in Brooklyn and all over Manhattan. He holds a Bachelor degree in TV/Film Production from St. John's University, and previously worked in television production for many major network programs (MSG Network, NFL Network, ABC News, soap operas 'One Life to Live' and 'All My Children,' Big Morning Buzz Live on VH1), as well as on several feature films.    'If you want someone who will work tirelessly on your behalf, who's willing to leverage every strength, skill and relationship in his arsenal to get you the best deal possible, I'm your guy!'

Sean Copello was easily the best broker I had contact with. He was incredibly fast and responsive, direct, organized, efficient, and professional. All while somehow being non-aggressive--a rare combination. His video tours are hugely helpful: you get a clear view of what the apartments look like in advance, which saves a *lot* of time in scheduling appointments. This was especially helpful for me as I'm relocating and not based in NY. I didn't end up renting an apartment from Sean, but I wanted to review him here because he was really head and shoulders above every single other agent I dealt with. I would wish anyone the pleasure of working with him.

I did not rent an apartment from this agent.

From the start, I thought that relocating to New York would be tough. Craigslist is full of fake ads, large brokerage firms use the same ad multiple times, and it is difficult to know what is real. However, I reached out to Sean Copello through nakedapartments and he made the process so easy.
After talking through neighborhood, price range, and move dates, Sean started looking for places immediately. I was still in San Francisco, so it was great that Sean was able to work with me remotely.
Sean has a lot of great strengths that set him apart from other brokers. Number one is his excellent communication. Sean was always available to talk or text and made me feel like he was very invested in finding me my next home. Once Sean had gone out to see apartments, we would short videos of each apartment and a great description. It was so great to actually see a place and not just rely on one or two bad photos (like other brokers). Additionally, Sean was very forthright and honest throughout the process and is very trustworthy. He didn’t tell me my price range was unrealistic and try to push me to a higher rent, in fact it almost seemed like he saw it as a challenge that he could beat.
I would recommend working with Sean for any of my friends moving to NYC. I also looked at brokers at Bond and Suitey.com and was not as impressed with their desire to work with me. Sean is so incredibly hard working and communicative for his clients. I also think that for younger people like me who expect a little bit more tech savvy in their brokers, Sean is a great choice. He is a stand out in a tough field and will work hard to find you your next home.

I rented an apartment from this agent.

Sean Copello is by far the most helpful and thorough broker I've ever worked with. So many brokers show you the first apartment you inquire about, and when you don't rent it, they say they'll continue to search and will follow up, but they rarely do. That's not the case with Sean. He searches diligently for the right apartment based on your needs and budget, and he comes up with lots of options. Plus the photos and videos he provides give you a really good idea of what an apartment looks like so you don't waste time looking at units that sound good, but just don't meet your needs. The fact that I ended up not renting through Sean had nothing to do with him. I even hated to tell him I had found something on my own that I had to jump on, because he had been doing such a great job. As I told Sean, if anyone asks me if I know a good broker, I will tell them I know a GREAT broker.

I did not rent an apartment from this agent.

We found Sean to be incredibly courteous, intelligent, personable, responsive, and dedicated to his work. He's a genuinely friendly guy, and he worked hard on our behalf. All of the apartments he showed us were close to what we were looking for, and even though we didn't rent from him in the end, we can't recommend him highly enough. He's a great guy, and you won't do better than him in your search for a good broker.

Sean is really energetic and friendly. He was one of the few brokers to get back to me w/in an hour after making the inquiry. Others take days and/or are rude. He called, not emailed/texted. To me that is paramount and highly professional.

I was working with many brokers, desperately trying to find the right apt. (my specs were very particular) and ended up renting another apt because time was of essence.

Either way Sean was super - I see him selling mega-million dollar buildings some day.

Sean was awesome. Super responsive and direct, no bait-and-switch or pressure tactics so common here, and super focused on not wasting time. If you are picky and care about not wasting time seeing places that don't fit what you want, Sean makes super helpful mobile video tours of his apartments.

I did not rent an apartment from this agent.
