I had 1 week to find an apartment in NYC when visiting from Albany. At first I tried the no fee no broker route and was left feeling morbid at the crappy apartments I saw (think no stove, no kitchen sink, no closets, maybe 200 sq ft). I finally broke down and got a broker realizing that I was about to be out of time and homeless.

I contacted Sandy from a list of apartments on the Citi Habitats website that I liked and a list of hopes/requirements for my new studio or one bedroom. She was super professional and has incredible relationships with landlords. The places she showed me were worlds away from the places I saw earlier.

In less than a couple of hours she found me an awesome big, pet friendly one bedroom apartment in an amazing neighborhood with fabulous closets - what more can I girl ask for? The process was a bit crazy - literally racing against another prospective renter to get in the application, but I won because of Sandy's relationship with the landlord.

I would highly recommend working with Sandy when you are looking for your next place in Manhattan!

Sandy went above and beyond her duties as a broker to be accommodating and pleasant. The management company was horrifying to deal with but Sandy did her best to make up for what they lacked. I definitely recommend her as a broker and just a nice person to speak with!
