I've worked the downtown Manhattan market for nearly seven years. So it follows that I understand the downtown renter and landlords very, very well.
Downtown renters have particular needs and wants--more particular than any of the other neighborhoods in city.
My goal is to find you the best apartment possible and at the same time make it as easy and painless as possible. In a market that is often considered very tough, I navigate both renters and landlords to happy solutions.
My motto is to be flexible and understanding and to be honest in presenting the barriers that the renter will face when confronting the New York City Market.
And more importantly -- to find solutions to these barriers!!
Please feel free to contact me with any questions you may have about the market or a particular apartment. I'll be happy to advise!

I had a great experience with Ric! He was very friendly, and immediately understood the kind of apartment I was looking for. Most importantly, he was the only broker I met with that was never pushy, and never rushed me to make a decision. Ric made finding an apartment in New York as stress-free as possible, and I ended up very happy with the apartment I'm renting. I would gladly recommend him to my friends and family!

i worked with several brokers moving out from la and ric has hands down been the best broker ive worked with. he actually listened to what i wanted but also was realistic and honest with you regarding how much of your wants you can get with the budget you give him to work with. he showed me the best listing. he was proactive, responsive and professional. on top of that, hes a nice guy that isnt 'salesy' which is very refreshing. i have a co-worker who ive referred to ric and hes also been very happy with his services. i will continue to refer him and will be working with him again once my lease is up.

Ric was excellent at finding apartments for me that had a lot of difficult criteria. Although I did not rent an apartment from Ric, which was only a matter of timing as I had several brokers searching, he consistently showed me quality apartments that match what I was looking for. I lost several of the apartments due to dragging my feet, but would have gone with Ric if they didn't move of off the market so fast. He is also very relaxed and professional and doesn't have the used car salesman feel that many brokers do. They often try to pressure you and make the process dramatic. I highly recommend Ric if you are looking.

Ric is hand's down the best agent that I have ever dealt with in New York. He is honest, knows the market inside and out, professional, and no bull shit. I have been through many agents that have given me the run around and have steered me in the wrong direction to leave me homeless or paying hidden fees. I have recommended Ric to all my friends, family and client's and I highly recommend him to you.

I had a great experience working with Ric. He helped me look for apartments twice in the last 3 years and I really appreciated his honesty and straight forward approach. Unlike a lot of other brokers that I've worked with, he listened to me and only showed me apartments that were within my budget and met my criteria. He also told me what to expect from the market straight away and that some of my expectations might be a bit unrealistic. One time we looked it was definitely a renter's market and I was able to find something that was no fee and didn't end up renting it through Ric but when I moved again a year later it was a much different market and Ric was really great it helping me understand how things had changed. He gave me a clear understanding of what was really out there. He was efficient and honest and didn't waste my time and helped me find a great place! Overall a great experience! I would definitely work with him again...although, I'm hoping I can stay put for a few years now. : )

I wish I could give Ric zero stars. This was by far my worst broker experience. Dealing with Ric was a complete waste of time. He had me leave work early to view an apartment that he already knew couldn't be accessed that day. And the photos he posts are not of the apartment he's showing.
