A native New Yorker, Raina has been a long time resident of Alphabet City and has lived in both the central East Village and Lower East Side.  Raina graduated from New York University with a major in Psychology and minor in Studio Art/Art Therapy. Taking strides to give back to her community, Raina was accepted to and joined the New York City Teaching Fellows program and completed graduate courses at Hunter College while teaching in the East Village. An avid fan of the arts and design, Raina is also a sculptor and amateur accessory designer.

There is nothing Raina loves more than immersing herself in all that New York has to offer. From living across the street from Obscura for many years and going to shows at CBGB’s to frequenting Broadway productions and grabbing dinner at Carmine’s and dessert at Serendipity 3; Raina’s eclectic knowledge of Manhattan will make you want to live here and create your own Manhattan story!
