Philip Johnson is a listener and a consultant, two very important roles in helping clients excel in their real estate transactions. “My services center around hearing and understanding my clients’ needs, advising them step by step on how to best meet them, and ultimately making them happy.” With his business built on relationships, Philip’s philosophy is founded in a deep personal commitment to seeing transactions as “more than just deals. They are large life decisions of immense meaning and worth, and should be handled as such by any agent you choose.” Working with Philip, clients are assured the benefit of the highest levels of professionalism, tenacity and dedication to meeting their goals. Prior to entering real estate, he served as the Chief Financial Officer for a higher education non-profit, and previously in Youth Development as a Program Director at a private summer camp in Minnesota. Originally from Bergen County, NJ, Philip graduated from Amherst College with a BA in Biology. He is an avid rower and runner as well as a patron of the arts who enjoys museums and all types of theater. Philip also is an active volunteer alumnus of his local Boys and Girls Club. “If you want an honest, altruistic broker with an intense work ethic and commitment to always going the extra mile to help with all your real estate needs, I’m your man for sure.”

You are very personable and a great pleasure to work with, well informed about the city rental market and you really took the time and effort to determine the right balance of location, type of unit and price. We appreciate your diligence – working two weekends in a row – to show us a lot of possibilities. She now has a nice apartment in a super neighborhood.

Philip is organized, punctual, and thinks of creative ways to market the apartment. He priced the apartment well and went above and beyond to be helpful. Plus, he is just a good deal-maker. I'm sure he would be equally as helpful were he representing the buyer too.

Philip was great to work with! He was very responsive and paid attention to the features I was looking for in an apartment. He was also really patient, and I never felt pressured. I decided to end my search for unrelated reasons, but would definitely recommend him!

I did not rent an apartment from this agent.

Philip was extremely courteous and responsive. He followed up immediately after our initial meeting with information that was current and useful. I can't say anything more due to the fact that I didn't go through the rest of the process, essentially due to timing issues, but the initial impression was very positive.

I did not rent an apartment from this agent.
