While Patrick O'Connor strives to make the short-term experience of working with him a rewarding one, he always looks at the long-term prospect when helping clients choose the right piece of real estate for their unique needs. Likable, accessible, and good at putting people at ease, Patrick makes an often daunting process smooth and enjoyable with these
traits. Formerly in the music industry, Patrick knows that good communication and relationships are key to any business. He was previously a music promoter at various major record labels who interacted with a myriad of personalities, and facilitated successful interactions with everyone from artists to radio programmers. A native New Yorker from the Bronx, Patrick currently lives in Midtown East. Prior to that, he resided for over a decade in a co-op he owned on the Upper West Side, as well as in the Kips Bay/Gramercy area. What he loves most about New York is Central Park, walking his dog in the Park or along the East River, exploring different neighborhoods on foot, and meeting new people along the way. He also enjoys music, theater and working out at the gym in his spare time.

I highly recommend Patrick, and I referred several of my close friends to him. My boyfriend and I were searching for a 1 bedroom apartment in Midtown East, and Patrick showed us more options than any other broker we worked with (and the apartment we ultimately rented!). He was always extremely prepared and had a very strong sense of exactly what we wanted. Even though we were looking more than a month in advance (which is early for NY) Patrick was more than willing to work with us. Every time I talked to him I felt like our apartment search was his number one priority. He was always very honest, transparent and genuine which was not the impression we got from other brokers. Patrick is a great broker and a nice person; he's a pleasure to work with.

I rented an apartment from this agent.

This broker will bend over backwards to find you the perfect apartment! After looking all over Harlem for a 2 BR, Patrick helped my roommate and I find a great place which met (and exceeded) all of our criteria. Throughout the tedious procss, he was very accessible, communicative, flexible, and helpful. I work full-time and my roommate was at the time living in another state. Patrick did his very best to facilitate a lot of the back and forth the lease signing process requires to make it all as easy as possible for us - even if it meant hand-delivering documents and payments! I would definitely recommend Patrick to anyone looking for a great NYC apartment, and have in fact referred 2 of my friends to him. I will certainly give him a ring should I need assistance again in the future!

I rented an apartment from this agent.

Patrick is a friendly broker with a great attitude. He was very responsive to my phone calls and emails. Also, he was budget-conscious and willing to work within my limited means.

I did not rent an apartment from this agent.
