I have worked with 7+ brokers over the years. Moses is by far the best. He is honest, dedicated, informed, and - worth repeating - honest. Moses took the time to listen to (as well as understand) my needs/desires. He then worked tirelessly to find a suitable apartment for me, with a short turnaround time. He was always accessible and passionate about my satisfaction. He is a great broker and an even better person. I would recommend Moses if you want a straight-shooter, who will work diligently for you.

Moses was wonderful to work with and made the process of renting an apartment easy. He was able to work around my schedule and always made time to answer any questions I had about the apartment or the application process. He made sure that everything was communicated clearly and when I was ready to submit my application I had no concerns that hadn't already been quelled. I highly recommend working with him.

I had lived with roommates since 2007; with a job promotion and a salary increase I finally resolved to get my own place this year. Not being the biggest fan of Craigslist and having a short period to secure a place, a decided a broker was the best route. I approached several brokers at various agencies, including a few on this site, but my experiences left me exasperated...some made me feel inferior because of my budget, some were not upfront with fees, some seemed unfriendly and unapproachable, some seemed in such a hurry to 'get a sale' they were barely listening to me. On a Saturday in February, I spent 5 hours at a broker's firm, signing documents, handing over paperwork, forms of ID, and going through a drudgery of questions that made me uncomfortable and distrusting of the brokers and the whole rental process. In the end I turned down an apartment I liked, simply because I felt there was too much "fine print" that was not being explained to me.

The next day, a Sunday, I sent a random email to Moses inquiring about a listing I saw on Naked Apartments. The plisse sounded perfect - great price, location, charm and amenities. The next morning, Monday, I received a response: the apt had an application pending on it, but I was invited to contact him again in a few days to see if it went through. I was impressed with Moses already at this point because the response was fast and polite.

Lucky for me, the pending application did not go through. By this time, mid-February or so, Moses knew I really wanted the apartment and knew we had to act quickly. Through his busy days of meetings and other renter appointments, he kindly took time to explain to me exactly what was required to apply, the exact fees I needed, and - most important to me - what timeframes to expect, and what specific legal and rental language meant. I'm the type who prefers facts and figures rather than 'gray areas' - and the honest truth, facts and figures are what Moses always gave me.

In the interest of time and convenience, Moses offered prompt and courteous communication via email or text - a bonus for me because of my late work hours. He arranged everything for me; I honestly feel like the whole process was effortless and smooth, from emailing me the application, to arranging my viewing with the Super, to handing in the required fees.

Moses' openness and honesty is a rarity! He explained everything, and not just what I wanted to hear - but even things like what my options were if I was not approved, and that once everything was submitted there was nothing more we could do than to simply wait for the landlord/owner's answer.

Most fortunately for me, I was approved! Moshe promptly delivered the good news, and then immediately proceeded to guide me in the next steps. This being my very first rental in NYC, I was very appreciative of his efforts. He was approachable, welcoming my many nervous questions. He arranged the lease sgning just a day or two later, and even called me the weekend of my move, March 1, to ask me how things went and if I had any concerns.

I highly recommend Moses for anyone seeking an apartments! I've already given his name to several colleagues at work. If you need a place, believe me, your search WILL end with him! My apartment is everything he said it would be: clean, basic, great hood, safe for my teen daughter. Moses' kind, highly knowledgable and more than capable assistance and support helped me score a gem of an apartment!

Moses is the most responsive and reliable broker I've ever dealt with in NYC. Every other experience I've had with brokers was a nightmare but he was a pleasure to work with due to his willingness to help, his in-depth knowledge of the property and his genuine desire to help us find a place that was right for my family.

I'd worked with two other brokers before meeting Moses, and I only wish I had met him sooner. I can't say enough good things about Moses! We went back and forth emailing each other for a few weeks before we actually met. He was always quick to respond and thorough in his search for us. He found us the perfect space for us, was able to get the landlord to let us in early (despite the fact that the place was totally gutted and they had to push up the finish date by a week), and when questions arose about our lease, he was patient, thorough and communicative in listening to our concerns and explaining everything. I have worked with many brokers in my time in NYC, and during this search specifically, and Moses is the best!!

Moses responded to my inquiry within a day, was always very professional, knowledgeable and helpful. I rented my apartment from the ones he showed me the first day!
