A native New Yorker who knows this city like no one else, Michelle Roa combines high-level luxury sales experience with a trustworthy approach and an extremely loyal work ethic. Possessing both the listening skills to connect with clients and understand their needs, and the negotiation talent to deliver premium results, Michelle consistently puts in the extra effort needed to ensure every one of her clients has the opportunity to find exactly what they want.
The daughter of a father who grew up on the Upper East Side and a mother who hailed from SoHo, Michelle always treasured hearing stories about her dad’s experience riding Manhattan trolleys in the 1930s and her mom’s memories of attending St. Anthony’s school on Sullivan Street. Her own New York story has included living everywhere from the Upper East and Upper West Sides to the Village and the Financial District.
“I truly love this city,” says Michelle. “The culture, the people, the architecture—it can’t be replicated. I have traveled all over the world, and whether I’m flying or driving, the moment I see the New York skyline I fall in love all over again. It just takes my breath away every time.”
Across her many years of exploring New York, Michelle has developed a comprehensive understanding of the city’s neighborhoods, with a particular expertise in downtown Manhattan. She combines this localized knowledge with significant sales experience developed over the course of 14 years working with superior luxury beverage brands such as Krug, Kendall-Jackson and Ketel One Vodka. Michelle is adept at forming close connections with clients and taking a consultative approach—listening closely to their needs and exploring every available option in order to find the very best fit.
“Buying a home is an emotional experience, and I take this pivotal moment in my clients' lives and handle it with great respect,” says Michelle. “I will always cater to your needs and deliver exactly what you want. This isn’t about me—it’s about you.”
A graduate of St. John’s University with a degree in Communications, Michelle is an active volunteer with New York Cares, a nonprofit that mobilizes New Yorkers to meet community needs such as restoring parks, assisting in animal care and helping the homeless. When not on the job she can often be spotted biking throughout the city to revisit favorite haunts and uncover new ones.
