There are dreamers and there are doers; Melanie Kohler just happens to blend these two concepts together wonderfully. Her passion for New York City real estate began before she could walk: growing up, her family had a construction company based in Manhattan for decades. Mesmerized by new architecture and restorations of vintage structures, New York City real estate instantly became Melanie's heartthrob, and she has found great success guiding buyers through the luxury market here. Melanie can sum up her business philosophy in two words: "details matter." She brings a dynamic, honest, and charismatic approach to the task. Melanie's ambition continued through her business and interior design studies, which took her from South Florida to London, experiences that provide versatility to all her clients' needs. Her keen eye for aesthetics, along with her knowledge of specific properties, consistently proves invaluable to clients. Flattered by the architecture in the Cast Iron Historic District, Melanie calls SoHo home. The authentic 1900's loft in her co-op building preserves the charm to the neighborhood she is so passionate about; walking out to cobblestone streets, art galleries, and quaint cafes is just an added bonus. When she's not wrapped up in a deal, she loves cooking, trying new restaurants around the city, traveling to new exciting cities she's never been to, playing soccer and most of all volunteering for the nonprofit Fresh Air Fund.
