Melanie Kohler can sum up her business philosophy in two words: "details matter." Understanding the intricate process of New York City real estate, Melanie brings a dynamic approach to the task proving great success. Whether her clients are relocating, buying, renting, or selling residential or commercial properties, Melanie guides her clients seamlessly throughout the entire process. Her fascination with NYC Real estate began before she could walk; growing up, her family restored commercial and residential properties throughout Manhattan. Mesmerized by new architecture and restorations of vintage structures, New York City real estate instantly became Melanie's heartthrob.
Melanie's ambition continued while obtaining her Bachelor's degree in business and interior design studies; which took her from South Florida to London, experiences that provide versatility to all her clients' needs. Her keen eye for aesthetics, along with her knowledge of specific properties, consistently proves invaluable to clients.
Passionate about the architecture in the Cast Iron Historic District, Melanie calls SoHo home. The authentic 1900's loft in her co-op building preserves the charm to the neighborhood she adores; walking out to cobblestone streets, art galleries, and quaint cafes is just an added bonus. When she's not wrapped up in a deal, she loves skiing, cooking, traveling, playing soccer and most of all volunteering for the Fresh Air Fund. Melanie is also a part of NYC's first neighborhood organization - The Washington Square Association and the New York Chamber of Commerce.
Melanie is a TOWN Certified Neighborhood Representative for Greenwich Village and West Village.
