Lu Daley

Lu is very professional and gracious with his time. We saw multiple apartments with him and he was very informative about these units and what we were looking to get from our search.

Although we did not find an apartment with him I wanted to share how well he worked with us through our search.

If Lu is your broker you will be in good hands.

Lu did a fantastic job of finding us an apartment. He was really energetic, friendly and organized. He showed us a nice variety of places and really listened to what we said about the things we were looking for.

He worked us through a tricky credit situation involving an out-of-state guarantor, and made the whole process as stress-free as is possible. He was very easy to get in touch with via phone, text and email, and he always got back to me promptly with any information I needed.

I couldn't be more pleased with the way it worked out, and I would whole-heartedly recommend Lu Daley as a broker.

This review concerns Lu Daley. Lu quite possibly restored my faith in brokers and using a service in NYC. Unlike many of the others I met through Craigslist, Lu was thoughtful, determined, energetic, and completely genuine. My roommate and I both work full-time, so he was kind enough to accommodate our schedules, and show us places later in the evening, sometimes even at 8:00pm. After my roommate decided to get her own place, Lu was kind enough, on short notice, to help me look for studios and even introduced me to another client with the idea that we could possibly room together and cut our costs. He never once complained about our indecision or complicated schedules and refused to show us anything that he felt was too disgusting or "sketchy," which as two girls we appreciated.

I never once felt like Lu was taking advantage of us or trying to scam us. He showed us exactly what we were looking for and had a sense of humor about it the entire time. Even though I ended up subletting a room, instead of getting my own place, Lu was incredibly gracious and truly happy to hear that I had found a place. I will refer anyone to him and should I ever find myself homeless again, he'll be the first person I call.

Great experience with Lu - very courteous and responsive. Took away one star because we were unable to meet up at the desired time and spot (admittedly, I was late), but Lu didn't respond to my texts or emails that night and didn't reconnect the next day. Would definitely try again with him though.

Edit: Heard from Lu again last night and everything got sorted out - technology malfunction. I'm thrilled that he was professional enough to call me back and try again. We spent the next 20 min talking through everything we're hoping to find. He answered all my questions and made me feel like though this is a process, it's not that daunting. Looking forward to working with Lu on this!

Lu was the best! We dealt with some real difficult brokers that left us hanging and never got back to us. We decided to go with Lu because he was on top of it. He always responded and guided us step by step through the whole process. He made it easy! I would definitely reccommend him to anyone looking for a great place to live!

Lu is the best!! Not only is he extremely professional and helpful but he has the renters best interest at heart. Lu walked us all around NYC until we saw every apartment that fit our criteria. Lu was GREAT to work with. He was very precise, concise and efficient without being rude. He was extremely professional but very personable at the same time. His "Show-not-tell" approach to the initial showing was very low stress and allowed me to experience the apartments on my own before jumping into all of the logistics. He stuck to my budget very strictly and respected my opinions and requirements regarding apartment choices. While I did not end up leasing one of his apartments, I would highly recommend Lu to anyone. This guy knows what he's doing.
