A native New Yorker, Lenicolle epitomizes the popular saying, "you can take the girl out of the city but you can't take the city out of the girl." While she was born in New York, she spent nearly 7 years living in Newport, Rhode Island due to a family decision to move for a job offer, however, the minute she saw the opportunity to return to 'her city' she acted immediately. While she enjoyed her years in Newport, the city always seemed to be calling her back, and it turned out that an educational opportunity at Fordham University was her one way ticket back to 'her city'.
