Never responded to my inquiry.

I ended up renting through other source, and didn't find a place through Lamar. HOWEVER, I highly recommend him for a couple of reasons. First of all, he was the very first one responded to my inquiry out of 4 contacts I made (2 have responded, and 2 didn't get back to me at all.) In addition, he is polite and attentive. Immediately he follows up. He is a good person to keep on your apt hunt. I certainly consider contacting him back for the next occasion.

Working with Lamar was very pleasing. To work with somone who understands your concerns and values your expectations is very hard to find. I worked with several agents before working with Lamar. I can say he is a very genuine guy to work with. I highly recommend him very helpful and resourceful.

Lamar was great, he responded quickly, was very helpful and understood what I was looking for.

We are still in the process of securing an apartment. As a debt challenged client, Lamar has been honest from the onset of what difficulties I will face. I am more than confident that he will assist me in finding an apartment that will meet my needs.

Working with Lamar was great. The first time my husband met with him to see an apartment we found on NakedApartments, he described the things that were looking for in an apartment (budget, natural light, etc), and Lamar listened carefully. After that, the only apartments he showed us were ones that fit our description--I would have happily put a deposit down on either of the apartments he showed us next. The one we ended up taking is a fantastic find--way bigger than we had ever hoped for, nice building/neighborhood, rent controlled, full of light--that we would have never found on our own. Throughout, Lamar was nothing but friendly, pleasant, and low-pressure. Paying a broker's fee pinches a bit, but he did a great job and it was worth it, and despite iffy things I've heard about Rapid Realty in general, everyone at Lefferts Gardens was great. Can't recommend him enough!

Lamar was very helpful. Always on time, always called to confirm a viewing the day of. He showed me two places, one of which he went out of his way to photograph for me as I was out of state. Very happy with the building, very happy with Lamar.

Lamar Bryant and his team at Rapid Realty did an amazing job. I'm so grateful to them. Lamar is extremely friendly, professional, and most importantly for brokers, humane. And so organized and efficient! He is very straightforward and makes the process much easier. I definitely felt like I could trust him right away and that I was in good hands no matter how the application turned out. He responded promptly to every one of my detailed messages, answered all calls promptly, and after some email discussion, showed me exactly the sort of apartment I was looking for on the first try. I applied later that day, and he and his team facilitated my application so that I was approved two days later and signed the lease today. I cannot thank them enough. I will happily recommend Lamar to everyone I know. You should work with him!

Even though I did not rent an apartment through Lamar (due to my own schedule), I thought he was very polite and seemed to truly care about finding me a place.

Lamar was late for the showing, and I couldn't reach him. I waited twenty minutes and then left. He called within 10 minutes of that to apologize and explain that another showing had run late, and he had left his phone at the office. I feel badly giving him a negative review because he seems very nice and courteous, but I had ridden 1.5 hours on the subway to see this one apartment, and was pretty annoyed.

Lamar was great. After he initially showed me an apartment which I liked but didn't fall in love with, I asked him to keep me in mind for something more quaint and historic. I didn't expect to hear back, but a few days later Lamar texted saying he had seen a place he thought I'd like, and took me to see it the next morning. I loved it! Lamar sped me through the application process (thankfully, because I saw several other brokers list the place on Naked Apartments the next day), and I just signed the lease. Thanks, Lamar!

If you are looking for a broker who is honest, listens to what you want and actually finds apartments that meet your criteria then Lamar is the broker for you! I am a VERY PICKY client and Lamar has been able to exceed my expectations and tailor my search so I don't feel like my time is being wasted. Whether it's unresponsive management or lazy supers, Lamar never tires and is willing to go above and beyond to make sure his client is cared for. It's an extremely tough uncaring market and it makes me feel better to know that I am working with someone who has the knowledge, consideration, and stamina to navigate it.

I've been searching for apartments for a while now and after about 2 weeks of looking at crap, i realized that this process was gonna be a bit difficult. After speaking with Lamar about my apartment hunting experience, he made me feel comfortable and came up with a game plan for my situation. The thing i appreciate the most was his honesty, knowledge of the area and what i could get approved for. Lamar was incredibly friendly while still maintaining a professional demeanor. He had a wealth of knowledge when it came to the various rental options at our disposal. Even though I ended up finding my own place, he was always proactive, courteous and above all else: patient. I highly recommend enlisting Lamar's services for anyone attempting to navigate an apartment search by themselves.
