Kristin Cantwell has been in her clients' shoes; that's why when she went into the real estate business, she vowed to be the best kind of broker she could be. To Kristin, that means being knowledgeable, honest, friendly, and passionate about finding each client the right apartment. "A lot of time and money goes into finding a new home. Why would anyone want to work with someone who doesn't really care about their needs?"
With that kind of great approach and attitude, clients sing Kristin's praises constantly, calling her "a refreshing voice of honesty, a welcomed skill in her business," and "the best broker I have ever worked with in this city." Creative in her thinking and innovative in her solutions, Kristin simply does not give up until she's explored every avenue, even ones her clients may not have previously considered.
Specializing in sales in Manhattan and Brooklyn, and rentals throughout Manhattan, Kristin has enjoyed numerous referrals that have taken her all over the city. Her background as an actor and advertising coordinator at USA Today cemented in her the many strengths that make her so effective as an agent, like her keen sales, organizational and multi-tasking skills.
Originally from Fairfax County, VA outside of Washington, DC, Kristin holds a BA degree in Theatre from the University of Mary Washington in Fredericksburg, VA. She currently lives on the Upper West Side, and loves the individuality of each different NYC neighborhood. Some of her favorite things about living in Manhattan are Central Park, Broadway and Off-Broadway theatre, the improv and sketch comedy community, diners and food trucks, which she never experienced before living here! Kristin also produces theatre shows and web series, loves to travel, read and cook, and hangs out at home with her orange tabby named Harlem.
