Originally from San Diego, California, Karyn moved to Williamsburg in 1999. An avid traveler, she relocated to New York after four years in Japan to attend The Teachers College at Columbia University to study Linguistics and Speech Pathology. She soon decided on a different career path and began working for high profile brand strategizing firms and advertising companies in New York City. Finally in 2001, she opened Replicate, a digital imaging and print shop on North 3rd and Wythe Avenue. Replicate’s customer base was local and international artists as well as New York galleries and businesses. It was the first business of its kind in the neighborhood and it enjoyed a successful 5-year run. In 2008, Karyn decided to combine her independent spirit and her network of creative professionals to start a career in real estate. Karyn has extensive knowledge of the neighborhood, having called Williamsburg home for the past 13 years. Her priorities are to respect and support the local businesses.
