Joel strives to find the home best suited for each client’s needs while making the process as seamless as possible, and keeping the atmosphere fun and interesting. It all begins with listening, Joel believes, which is “the main ingredient in the recipe for developing long-lasting relationships – the key to real estate.”
Highly personable and attentive, Joel is also very systematic and focused in his approach. This allows him to pamper his clients and empathize with their emotions, yet be pragmatic and well researched when recommending a course of action. “I show clients recent activity in the market, and especially properties that are comparable to what they are looking for in the same location. This helps them understand the market better and inspire an informed decision.”
Joel came to the real estate industry as a loan officer back in 2005. Prior to that, he honed his sales and service skills in various customer service capacities from telecommunications to credit analyzation. Originally from the Dominican Republic, he grew up in Washington Heights, and has lived in New York City for 28 years. Joel loves living amid the medley of different people and offerings around him. Aside from enjoying the city scene, he is an avid cross fitter, basketball/football/baseball/mixed martial arts fan, and volunteer with Part of the Solution (P.O.T.S.) soup kitchen.
