Clients commend Janis for her integrity and the customer service she provides. She helps make the process of selling or finding a home or investment personalized, efficient and enjoyable.

Real estate has always come naturally to her. Even before she officially entered the arena, she was buying and selling homes and investment properties. At that time, Janis was working as a software developer in the fast-paced hedge fund industry so of course market fluctuations are something she understands innately.

As a longtime resident of the Upper West Side, Janis has lived in multiple dwellings, most uniquely, a houseboat at the 79th Street Boat Basin. Her enthusiasm for this part of the city is contagious. "As the parent of a teenage daughter, the UWS has offered so much in terms of quality of life -- great schools, two beautiful parks, excellent restaurants and shopping, but most importantly, a true sense of community."

A graduate of SUNY at Binghamton, Janis holds a BS in psychology and an MS in Computer Science. Both of these areas of study continue to serve her well and her empathy and patience are qualities frequently needed to help a client make a move to a new home.
