"Real estate in Manhattan operates as an entirely different organism than anywhere else on the globe. I educate my customers by managing expectations. Taking the time to explain the market is crucial. I help people see the value in what they're searching for. This is a city of compromise, whether you have a Prosecco or Veuve Clicquot budget!"
Heather loves helping customers find the homes and neighborhoods of their dreams. Some of her favorite to work with, in fact, are those who are relocating to New York from other cities, because she too remembers feeling excited and grateful just to walk down the street in the greatest city in the world.
Originally from rural Pennsylvania, Heather thrives on big city life. She holds a BA Cum Laude degree in Art History from Duquesne University in Pittsburgh, PA, attended Fashion Institute of Technology in NYC, and studied Advertising and Marketing at St. Mary's College in London, England. Heather also lived in Los Angeles, but has a special place in her heart for New York. She works extensively downtown though rents and sells apartments anywhere your needs take her.
To Heather, relationships are everything. "Nurturing them is the most significant thing you can do." Honesty and loyalty are key to building these strong bonds, which is Heather to a fault. "Approaching matters in a straightforward manner upfront allows less room for error down the road." Always looking for ways to think outside the box, Heather blends strong organizational skills with natural creative abilities to find solutions to each customer's needs.
Prior to real estate, Heather worked in other sales-driven, creative roles, including the fashion industry in design, research and development, merchandising, sourcing and production for over 12 years. She is not only a master multi-tasker, but a hard worker who's not afraid to roll up her sleeves and jump into a project full force. Heather prides herself on her goal-oriented approach, positive attitude, meticulous eye for detail, and chameleon-like ability to adapt to situations as necessary. Personally, she loves to explore NYC's vibrant culinary and cultural scene, and travel the world when time allows. She also enjoys playing tennis, and is a novice equestrian.
