I didn't get the pushy sales pitch from him nor the ratcheting up of pressure in the apartment, he didn't crowd me describing every doorknob . He just concisely ensured that I was prepared, advised that there would be competition for desirable spaces in good condition in affordable Nabes. I was prepared to make an earnest deposit on a space I feel in love with, otherwise and until that point he took me to a few spaces that met most of what I've asked for.

The only better experience I had was renting in buffalo. I could live like a queen for my buck. =) Go with this guy

Finding a place in the city (and now Brooklyn) is hard! The fake Craigslist ads I suffered through . This site was a breath of fresh air. I saw 3 happening listings all belonging to this Collins guy. He didn't seem like a novice robot so I felt him out. He answered all of my questions graciously, did a customized search & then we scheduled an appointment days later. I needed to cancel because of extenuating circumstances- he didn't badger me.

Overally, my impression of Hannibal is that he's in this for the passion of it. Not the money- [although that talks]. It was evident in his expression & how he interacted with everyone from me , to owners, supers & coworker. En route to a viewing he mentioned his fondness for architecture, my nephew is an engineering major. Young professionals bring tears of joy to old-timers like me. I wish Hannibal continued success in this tough business. If only all brokers were cut from this cloth.

What can I say? I didn't have the means for the typical 15% brokers fee for a space. Hannibal was accommodating & reasonable. He discounted the fee to 11% which saved me a tremendous amount, .. $ I was able to appropriate to security & moving costs.

Hannibal notified me from our first contact of everything the seeking process would require. I didn't give any thought to the paperwork owners would ask for, he made sure I had my documents accessible, & securing the space I liked swiftly warded off stiff competition for the place I desired.

I would use him & his company again & again. The journey was a breeze, or as breezy as can be. I'm sure I asked many annoying questions but he was patient & personable. His colleagues also work in unison to help each other, its a pleasant environment. His office was few blocks from Atlantic terminal which was a easy commute.

Hannibal is PROFESSIONAL. Our entire encounter, he was accommodating. He is very knowledgeable about the inventory & apparently passionate about Brooklyn. The his energy. My apartment search was on the outskirts of typically stressful process was enjoyable because of bed-stuy but he gave me 5th avenue service. No dilemma or hiccup daunted him, he stayed positive & kept me encourages & helped me find solutions. I hope to turn the key in my door within the week.

Hannibal responded promptly & proceeded to give me clear expectations of what the process would be like. There was no surreptitiousness as one would possibly expect from a broker or any salesperson. We avoided alot of heartache being prepared. I found an awesome space in my price range. He has a constantly pleasant demeanor & seems like he driven to help.

His colleagues were quite helpful & welcoming as well. I strongly recommend.

Hannibal definitely reached out to me. I was really not prepared for the process and I can't hold that against him. I hope I can work with him in the near future.

Hannibal was very courteous and accommodating. He has a welcoming persona that puts you at ease. He is extremely knowledgeable and patient as far as I observed. Many agents I've come across are pushy, they don't listen to your needs and circumstances, fortunately I didn't experience that with him which was a great relief. He was professional throughout, humorous (although corny at times) but you can tell he is passionate about what he does. I didn't have the most favorable circumstances, but Hannibal finds solutions regardless. I highly recommend, I've sent my sister and a good friend of mine to apartment search with him too. NakedApts is awesome! The craigslist frauds got tiresome. This was easy.
