Hanna Gedy

Hanna was great. I wasn't in a big rush so I was pretty picky which I think would have bothered most brokers, but not her. She was very responsive, proactive and totally went the extra mile to help get me into my new home. Even after I moved in she was still helping deal with building management to get some maintanence issues addressed. I have already recommended her to friends and can't say enough about how helpful she and her partner Alan were!

Hanna was my savior! Having less than average experiences with several other brokers, I was feeling very underwhelmed with my EV apartment search. Hanna was quick to respond to my initial enquiry and when I learnt that that particular apartment had already been rented, she responded the same day with another option that fitted my criteria. Hanna met with me at a time that suited my schedule and not only showed me the one apartment but a second, which was to become my new home. Throughout the entire process, Hanna was accommodating and transparent and most importantly to me, not at all pushy. I would definitely recommend Hanna and would not hesitate utilizing her expertise in the future.

My family and I worked with Hanna recently for about two weeks while trying to find an apartment. While the overall process of finding a Manhattan apartment is more or less dreadful, Hanna was nothing short of delightful and made the process much more tolerable. She is determined and very hard working. Hanna seems to have a lot of experience in this business and navigates through it very well. Hanna showed me and my family more than 15 apartments over the course of three days. Her approach to the apt search was to make sure that we saw a variety of apt types (based on the criterion that I gave her) so that we could compare and contrast the strengths and weaknesses of each to make a much more informed decision in terms of prioritizing - and this approach worked very well. Overall, we enjoyed working with Hanna very much and highly recommend her.

Hanna was very imaginative and worked extremely hard to find me an apartment.My parameters were rigid and exacting. We found a great apartment for what I was looking for.
I would work with Hanna again when looking for another apartment.

I rented an apartment through Hanna and I could not be happier with the experience.

Hanna was incredibly friendly but most importantly she was very professional, competent and helpful - the perfect broker! When other brokers would have been pushy, Hanna was patient. She has a real gift for making you feel entirely comfortable through the entire process and I appreciated that very much. Hanna had good apartments to show and definitely knew the right apartment for me. I know I can count on her for advice and I trust her.

Dealing with brokers in NYC can be so stressful. So many brokers can be pushy, unprofessional, and show you apartments which don't fit your search criteria. Hanna was absolutely incredible. She was very knowledgeable about the market, candid, and above all, honest. She showed me apartments which fit all my search criteria. For every appointment, she was always on-time. Afterwards, she was never pushy about making a quick decision. She worked with me to make sure I was comfortable and 100% happy with the apartment. I highly recommend working with her.

Hanna was a pleasure to work with - all of the apartment she showed me were in my price range, and she was extremely patient and flexible when what I was looking for changed from day to day. She responds promptly to emails, was always on time, and never seemed frustrated, even when I was indecisive. She understands that this is a complicated process and is always helpful and respectful.

I'm revisiting this site to sing the praises of why you should be working with Hanna! I rented an apartment through Hanna last October. Recently I had an issue with the billing of my monthly rental statement and called her. In true Hanna fashion, she told me to schedule a meeting with the leasing office in my building and she'd be there! Who does that? Hanna will find you the right apartment and will be there for you long after you've signed your lease! She is a true gem :)

She was on top of stuff though not terribly endearing. Before negotiations began, she said the price could be negotiable, after I mentioned filling out an application, not negotiable. Clever girl...

This was my first time renting in NYC. Hanna was wonderful. I was living/working in Westchester so my schedule for viewing apartments was unpredictable. Hanna was very accomodating to my schedule. She stayed within my budget and did not show me apartments that were above my price rage. I highly recommend Hanna if you are looking for your perfect apartment.
