Hi George,

"George is by far the best real estate agent we have come across during our apartment search. My wife and I always felt that he had our best interests at heart, taking great care in explaining not only the apartment he was showing, but how the rental process worked and what to be careful of. He was very quick to respond to calls and emails, which was greatly appreciated given how fast things move with nyc rentals. We would highly recommend George to anyone, and we'll surely be contacting him again for any future move.

Y.Y., 5/1/2013 "

Thank you again George!

SG Esq.
For many years as a bachelor, I lived in a tiny studio in Murray Hill. Then life reached a new plateau: my pregnant fiancé was moving in with me, so I needed a lot more space … fast! George busted his hump to help me find exactly the right place for my first family home. After working hard to show me an uncountable number of apartments in Murray Hill, Hell’s Kitchen, and the Upper East Side, George found us THE perfect place on the Upper east Side. Tons of room, beautiful cherry wood floors, new appliances, and bright, sunny views of Central Park. We saw the most amaaaazing sunsets in that apartment! Best of all, there were two terraces that, together, were bigger than my old studio in Murray Hill! My wife and I got married and then had our baby while we lived in that apartment, had all the room we needed, and we even had fabulous outdoor space and fresh air without having to step out of the front door.

George Ivanov is a world-class real estate broker. Phone calls, emails, texts, paperwork, faxes, subways, taxis, and schlepping. Lots and lots of schlepping. This ass-kicking professional is like a real estate broker “samurai”: absolutely WHATEVER IT TAKES, George will get it done.

George found me that apartment at the exact minute I was going through a dramatic change in life and, instead of the apartment hunt being a stressful nightmare, he made the entire process pretty damn easy and stress-free. I will never be able to thank him enough, and I honestly can’t recommend him strongly enough.

Don’t waste your time with other brokers; just get George Ivanov – you’ll be glad you did! - April, 2013

George Ivanov gives Spire a good name. When my company decided to move this California girl to the Big City, I tried Craigslist only to be overwhelmed with run-down apartments on the wrong side of town. The professional looking listing was by George and on it he said to call at any time of day. I was in NYC on business when I called at 8pm and sure enough he answered. He sent me some listings that night and we were looking at apartments the next day. Unlike other brokers, George has always delivered on every promise and has advocated for me during the brutal application process. I highly recommend George if you are looking for a personal or corporate lease in NYC.

Just got ourselves a great deal on an apartment in Lincoln Square. My girlfriend is absolutely ecstatic about the new apartment and if she's happy that means I'm happy. We worked with George Ivanov from Spire and he was amazing to work with. We had previously worked with some other brokers and it was like talking to used car salesman. They only cared about the quick sale and tried to convince us that dilapidated 400 sqft studios priced at $2800 were a bargain that we needed to jump on right away. Dan on the other hand took his time to understand exactly what we were looking for and went out of his way to show us only what were the best values for our money. He spent a LOT of time showing us different apartments in different neighborhoods and educating us on how rentals work in NYC. He was diligent in looking up new listings that matched our criteria and got us the first viewing in the apartment which we eventually leased. Bianka from Spire was helpful with getting our lease application processed quickly and we are moving in next weekend.

This, like all the reviews for realty firms, is more a review of the broker than the firm. My partner and I were looking for a two bedroom we would share with our single friend (not a very conventional case), close to central park, with a lot of light, in the UWS or UES. We worked with about 10 brokers, including ones from Manhattan Apartments, Citi Habitats, etc. George Ivanov, our broker from Spire Group, was by far the most pleasant to work with. He wasn't pushy. He was well-organized and very sensitive to our needs. He cared and wanted to find us our new home, not just another apartment. He was also very respectful of our time and did not waste our time with crappy apartments, stuff out of our price range, etc. George's choices of apartments to show us were dead on, they fit most our criteria, if not all. He was also very easy to contact by phone and by email. I have a habit of writing long emails describing everything we need with examples and such, and I found that he was the only one who actually read these emails, thought about them, and used all the information to find us something great. I highly recommend George to anyone who is looking for not just a great broker, but also a great person to deal with and a very pleasant overall experience.
