Gabriel Hurtado believes you should live life the way you've always wanted. For him, that is NYC! Gabriel moved to New York from small town Allentown, PA in his late teens. He wants his clients to feel as passionate about their residence as he does, and strives to help them achieve the cosmopolitan home they've always desired.

Owning a successful interior design boutique in Brooklyn allowed Gabriel to transform homes into beautiful designs that fit his clients like tailored gloves. He not only has a keen eye for design and the possibilities of space; he also has a penchant for customer service, and strong confidence that anything and everything is possible. These qualities and attitudes have been key in Gabriel's success as a businessman and service provider.

Gabriel has a wealth of knowledge and many connections within the real estate industry. He moved to NYC in 1994 and has since lived in Manhattan, Queens, Staten Island, Westchester, and in several Brooklyn neighborhoods. Gabriel works all over Manhattan, and currently resides in the historic and beautifully vibrant Brooklyn neighborhood Bedford-Stuyvesant. "Even after nearly 20 years of living here and visiting NYC all my life I still walk down the street in awe, just like a tourist." As a photographer, Gabriel is obsessed with the architectural shapes and shadows of the best city in the world. His keen eye allows him to help clients envision beauty and possibilities in a space they may not be able to see otherwise.

Gabriel studied Photography at SUNY's Fashion Institute of Technology. Besides co-founding and running Gavin Thomas Interiors, which most recently branded, designed and built a bakery on the Upper East Side called Pips Place, Gabriel also worked in hospitality, the entertainment business as a promoter and DJ, the Chelsea gallery scene and even punk rock cosmetics. His interests range from camping to antiquing. Gabriel also travels to Europe annually to satisfy his fascination with art and architecture, plus loves the culinary arts and entertaining friends in his home.
