The whole process of getting an apartment sucks. Brokers just want to be able to go to their bosses with a signed lease. CL has let us all down repeatedly. Going to a management company directly only really works in theory. You wish you could just meet a knowledgable, non-pushy, honest person to deal with. Fatima was all of that. Plus, after talking to her, you just want to be friends with her. One apartment viewing later, I was ready to just go get drinks with her and let the apartment find itself. I honestly didn't even care about the broker's fee.
I went with the first apartment she showed me. After that - she made all the paperwork and e-mails as painless and possible for me. She even walked my returned deposit over to my new apartment.
I hope she makes a bunch of money and is still a broker next time I'm looking for an apartment.

Fatima was tremendously helpful in securing the apartment my boyfriend and I were interested in. She was on time to appointments and communicated often. When we had questions or concerns, she was available with answers.

We put a $500 deposit down to hold the apartment but we were refunded the money upon signing the lease. Like others, we weren't ecstatic about the broker fees, but so goes apartment hunting in NYC.

Fatima is a very nice and patient agent. She took the time to show me a lot of places (because I'm picky), she knows Brooklyn very well and I settled for an area that I was familiar with. Even though I didn't get the apartment with her she putwoyld in a lot of time and she went out of her way to make me feel like a person and not just a client. I would recommended Fatima to whoever wants an apartment in Brooklyn.
