He found me a great apartment in my price range in a day. He was easy to reach by email and phone and we got the entire process done in a matter of days. I couldn't be happier. I will refer my friends to him for sure.

I rented an apartment from this agent.

Edward is a very responsive and knowledgeable broker. He helped us tremendously to understand neighborhoods and catered to our budget and needs. He worked around our budget and adjusted his fee to meet what we could offer. If you are looking for a broker you can't do any better than Edward.

I did not rent an apartment from this agent.

I spoke with Edward regarding my rental need in Forest Hills. On the phone it seemed like he cared by asking all the right questions about our wants and needs for our next home. From the time we spoke to the time of our meeting was a three day span. Which leaves plenty of time for him to find us something Edward sent another agent to our appointment. He did not tell this agent any of our information including budget or desired location.

What we saw was the complete opposite of what I had spoken to Edward about. I fealt like my voice was unheard and this was a slap in the face. It is as if he did not want my business. I feel bad for the poor agent whose time he wasted by sending him on a wild goose chase to show an apartment that we didn't want

I did not rent an apartment from this agent.

Edward Shafidiya Responded:
I do apologized for your experience. I explained what you were looking to the other agent and even sent a copy of the email with items you were looking for. It was difficult for me correspond better during my time away since I was a place that did not have consist electricity.

I do wish you all the best and I am sorry again for your bad experience.

Showed up 20 minutes late, but did text me to let me know he was running late. I was already at the meeting locations (a starbucks) 20 minutes early, so I ended up waiting 40 minutes before viewing the place. When he arrived, he was very professional! I am not going to take the apartment because of the 15% of yearly rent commission fee. However, I give Edward another chance find an apartment (sans City Habitat's crazy fees).

I did not rent an apartment from this agent.

NEVER EVER CONTACT THIS GUY. I don't even know why someone would hire a guy like edward. First, he comes to the appointment 30 MINUTES LATE, and does not even say Hello or sorry for his lateness. He looks completely unprofessional. He makes me and my friend get in his car and gives me a paper from his backpack (that was a complete mess) and tries to make me write down my information and sign it, to which I refused and asked to see the apartment first in order to complete any form. After seeing the apartment, he tries to make me write down my information again, to which I refused one more time. He immediately snapped and was EXTREMELY RUDE. He kept forcing me to write down my information and after refusing again he said he needed a form of "guarantee". GUARANTEE FROM WHAT?!?!?! My friend and I refused to sign anything or give any information and then left extremely pissed. This guy is a d****e, don't ever try to contact him. The business would be better off with someone who has this kind of work ethic.

I did not rent an apartment from this agent.

Edward Shafidiya Responded:
It mishap on my part on how handled that entire situation. I was driving from an appointment from Queens to Hudson Heights by Fort Tryon. I did apologized to the young lady and her friend for my lateness but she was still understandly very upset. The form I tried to have the reviewer to sign was my registration/comission agreement form that Real Estate Professionals generally have their clients sign before showing an apartment. It was a total misunderstanding on how the form was presented.
