Best broker I've worked with in New York City. Very responsive and attentive—made a point of tracking down EXACTLY the type of apartment I was looking for. Many brokers just try and show clients a bunch of apartments without much consideration of what the clients really want. Daniel, on the other hand, zeroes in on specific apartments that fir clients' needs, making the search process a lot quicker and less stressful, and ultimately allowing you to find exactly the type of place you want. Highly recommended.

I had the good fortune of engaging Daniel Day Lee in helping me find my first apartment in New York City, and I can't recommend him highly enough.

From the first phone call I was instantly impressed. He was professional, courteous and took a genuine interest in my situation (a complex one, having just arrived from Australia with no US credit history).

I sent a follow up email with some properties of interest, and he responded that same night with detailed information on each one, and alternate times for immediate viewings.

Daniel understood exactly what my housemate and I were looking for, and showed us a slew of great properties over three different days.

Throughout the course of the search, he was attentive, informative, an excellent and frequent communicator, and knowledgeable in the market. He was never late, and accommodated viewings around times we were available.

Daniel found us the perfect apartment, under budget and with a minimum of fuss, and he worked hard to get us across the line as tenants.

I came into contact with a few other brokers while looking for a place, and noone came close to offering the service, friendliness and genuine care Daniel did.

To top it all off, he gave us some wine to celebrate our signing, which I would gladly have him over to share with us!

Daniel was really great to work with. We moved from Florida to NYC - so I'm sure working with us over the phone wasn't ideal, but he could not have been more pleasant to work with! He was extremely patient with us and helped us find the PERFECT place for my little family (me, hubs, black lab). We love our new home on the Upper East Side/Yorkville and will use Daniel again IF we ever leave this gem.

Just having moved to the city I needed someone I could trust that really was trying to listen to my needs and find relevant options for me. Quickly, I realized most realtors in New York just want to get you to any listing and sell it to you even if its not what you wanted. Then I found Daniel. Daniel was extremely patient and truly listened. He respected my time and only showed me viable options. He was super responsive at all hours of the day and friendly and insightful. He went above an beyond my needs and in the end found me a fantastic apartment! I could go on and on, Daniel was a key person in my transition to New York and I couldn't thank him enough!

He's super knowledgeable about the area and you can tell he loves his job. Will definitely recommend him to my friends.
