Dan Marrello knows full well himself from his former years as a successful real estate agent that motivating yourself each day can be quite a challenge, and that being an entrepreneur does not always come easy. That’s why as a non-selling manager he strongly focuses on instilling in his agents the necessary tools to build their drive, and their career.
His time in real estate management has taught Dan the key lesson of treating each agent as an individual, catering to their particular needs, and supporting them in their quest to provide premier real estate services to clients throughout New York City. Whether that means hands-on nurturing for newcomers to the industry or arms-length guidance for more seasoned professionals, he will arm you with the skills you need to make your business grow.
Dan believes in an open-door policy that allows agents the freedom to come in and out of his office with questions and concerns that when resolved, can make their business better.
With strong leadership and negotiating his fortes, he also keeps a close watch on the market so he can share his insight and knowledge with his entire team. By always being a step ahead, he’s able to be the most valuable partner for his agents. Dan previously worked in the restaurant industry, which greatly sharpened his talent for thinking and acting quickly, and his flair for interacting effectively with people of all kinds.
Real estate, and Citi Habitats in particular, was the perfect fit for his own mission to excel in a lifelong career he loves. Originally from Bergen County, NJ just minutes from Manhattan, Dan earned a degree in Finance from the University of Rhode Island. He thoroughly enjoys his work, and plays an active part in the industry as a member of the Rental Committee of the Real Estate Board of New York (REBNY).
