Whether it's a short-term lease or buying a brownstone for life, everyone is looking for their own special part of this amazing city. Christopher Ritchey is proud to be your facilitator in that process, no matter what your unique goals and dreams. An avid researcher and great organizer, Christopher presents his clients with the most relevant options and best opportunities based on their needs. He makes the search extremely efficient, as he does the entire transaction once you decide on 'the one.' "Not every person is going to take the first place they see, or even the tenth place necessarily. My mission is to show people the best matches for their lifestyle and budget, and educate them on what's out there so they can make informed decisions. I want to create clients for life, not for just your first rental." Having lived in four different rental apartments and now in his own condo with his husband, Christopher understands the daunting yet exciting task of finding a home in Manhattan. Originally from PA, he grew up on a horse farm then moved to the big city 15 years ago. Christopher started in the East Village, then moved to Hell's Kitchen, Long Island City and now Hamilton Heights. Prior to entering real estate, Christopher perfected his keen eye and customer service skills at the Salon at Bergdorf Goodman as a freelance hair stylist for television and magazines. He has worked with many types of people, has a natural ability to listen, intuitively takes in exactly what a client wants, and possesses patience that is legendary! "Somewhere there's a respite from the bustling city that we all love, and I will help you find it!" When not busy showing properties, Christopher takes advantage of the city in his free time as much as possible. He enjoys  Broadway, the opera, Met Museum and restaurants; plus his an avid runner training for the NYC half marathon. You can find great info in his blog at www.AllThingsChristopher.com.

Chris is the absolute best! He is trustworthy, honest and genuinely wants to identify an apartment that will work. He did not try to talk me out of my "non-negotiables"; he did his best to meet them. He never made me feel bad or that I had wasted his time if I didn't want to rent something that he offered. I ended up staying in my current place due to work proximity, so it didn't work out for me this go 'round, but Chris is who I will call when I'm ready to move.

I did not rent an apartment from this agent.

Christopher was really great to work with. He understood our specific needs and took us to see places that we would be interested in. He was always on time and responded to all our calls, texts and emails. We'd definitely work with Christopher again.

I rented an apartment from this agent.
