Christine De Lisle has a passionate interest in the ups and downs of New York City, which she has called her home for nearly 30 years. Watching the city recover after the tragedy of 9/11 and realizing that the spirit of New York cannot be crushed, she has gravitated to the growth and potential that only New York City provides. Knowing that people from all over the country and from around the world want to live the New York 'experience', Christine has the capability to find the perfect home or apartment for anyone seeking to be part of this "Capital of the World."
Being truthful and honest in her dealings, easy to communicate with, and organized in her approach are some hallmark qualities which make Christine unique and effective to work with as your agent. In your quest for the right NYC abode, she is an enthusiastic and trustworthy partner willing to do what it takes to match the right property to your specific needs.
With her background in the entertainment field, Christine exudes creativity. Prior to real estate, she was an actor, writer, producer and marketing director both in NYC and Los Angeles. Originally from Detroit, MI, Christine holds a BA degree in Communications with a minor in Journalism from the University of Detroit. While her goal was to become a television journalist, she was recruited as a spokesperson and model for the city's major automobile companies, and from there her career blossomed. She moved to NYC, performed in over 60 national TV spots and appeared on billboards across the country, then took the world of acting by storm in LA as a guest star in top TV shows and movies of the week. After living in LA for 10 years, Christine moved back to NYC and refocused as a producer and casting director. She also coordinated special events and silent auctions working with numerous local charitable organizations.
When not consumed with real estate, Christine leads an active, productive personal life. She produced an Off-Broadway comedy, is an avid theatre, film and art devotee and an activist on issues that concern her. Christine served as Co-Chair of The Creative Coalition's Homelessness Committee as well as a member of the Board of Directors of the Partnership for the Homeless. Her volunteer activities include work for the USO of Metropolitan New York, the Central Park Conservancy and the Association for Community Employment (ACE). Her passion is world travel, which she has done extensively, and looks forward to continuing to check new places off her "bucket list."
