Andrew Klima

From the time I was a child I have loved music, people, and business. I began singing at three with my Fisher Price microphone and never stopped. Since then, I have continued to develop my skill; having sung internationally as a classical tenor. I am currently finishing my masters in Opera Performance at the Manhattan School of Music. But, singing has never been my only interest, I also love people and business. At 13 I started my own lawn and landscaping company, which I ran for ten years, eventually servicing 20 clients weekly and landscaping 25 homes and businesses. Having been bitten by the entrepreneurial bug, I was sitting on my lofted bed in college and realized I had a major problem...I had no place to put my favorite drink, Diet Pepsi; so I invented a product that I later marketed and sold in bookstores. After college, finished with cold Upstate New York winters, I headed to North Carolina where I taught chorus in a public middle school to 435 singers. Being so far from home, I knew I needed a project to keep myself busy. The answer was becoming the Associate Music Director for the third largest Catholic church in the diocese and buying, redoing, and selling my first home. As I wrote the final commission check to the real estate agent, having always loved reading about real estate and investing, I thought, that's what I want to do to supplement my singing. So, here I am. I've learned through my experiences that hard work, listening to the customers' needs, and dedication are the keys to success.
