Ashley, I never received any inquiry from you regarding an apartment. If I did not respond I apologize as I do receive a very high volume of leads. Ag.

I have had nightmares from working with this broker and anyone at Caliber associates. Most of their listings feature fake pictures and fake details just to get your attention. I would be very careful when setting an appointment as the person you schedule with will not be who arrives on the actual meeting. They tend to offer you only places out of your budget and wil do anything to close a deal. They certainly should not be trusted. If there is any other broker available, leave Caliber as your second choice.

I did not rent an apartment from this agent.

I recently finished working with Andrew at Caliber Associates and had a terrible experience. From the start the listing featured fake pictures, inaccurate rent details, as well as misleading fee details. After scheduling a meeting with Andrew he sent one of his associate to meet us, who was very helpful. We made a quick decision on the apt and were told to come in the next morning to fill out our application. With everything prepared the process seamed to be going smoothly however this is when the real issues started. That monday I got a call from their office manager stating that the "NO FEE" apartment we applied for actually had a fee now, as the management company stopped paying the fee as of the previous Friday. Had this been expressed we would of certainly put the application in on Friday rather than waiting for saturday morning. After going back and forth the fee was negotiated down but it was then that the rent went up $100 per month. It turns out all details mentioned were a lie and it was not until our application was in and a security deposit was accepted that this came to the forefront. When signing the lease itself the management company let us know that this apt was never listed as no fee however it was simply a misleading and dishonest posting by Andrew at Caliber. He is not a broker that can be trusted and is simply looking to take advantage of renters in NYC. I would strongly recommend to work with any other broker.

I did not rent an apartment from this agent.

Andrew Goldsmith Responded:
Adam I sincerely aplogize if you feel you had a negative experience. That was not my intent. The mistake made was an honest unintentional one not the way you PORTRAY. To be fair here your application was NEVER processed until the correct information was delivered to you. You at any time could have walked away and had all of your funds returned. You also fail to mention that our company addressed this situation quickly and fairly and was extremely aplogetic we did come to a fair resolution.

Andrew is great to work with! He listens to your search criteria and doesn't try to force you into an apartment so he can make a quick buck. He took the time to understand what was important to my roommate and myself. If you are looking for an apartment in NYC and don't want to be taken advantage of, work with Andrew!!

I did not rent an apartment from this agent.
