Very impressed by Ana. She was very good at responding promptly and showing us what we wanted.

Ana was absolutely great. Three hours after we met her, we were signing a lease. She understood what we were looking for immediately, and did not bother to show us places that were not in our budget, or were not what we were looking for in terms of location. She knows Astoria very well, and we highly recommend her if anyone is looking an apartment there. She really took the time to understand our situation and got us in touch with a landlord who is as nice as can be. If you are looking in Astoria, contact Ana.

Canceled on me twice. Then had another broker take me out who was clueless and took me to 2 places, one of which was already rented when we got there. Huge waste of time.

Going to look with Ana this Saturday for a place and so far she has been very friendly and helpful! I look forward to working with her!

Update: Ok, now I can write more in my review because Ana found me my DREAM APARTMENT!! I cannot thank her enough for this. This broker is the most wonderful broker I have ever worked with and one of the BEST in New York. She is so kind, so thoughtful, and so easy to talk to! She really was looking out for what was best for me! As a girl in her 20's, safety was a big concern for me and she was so great about that! She told me one place she didn't want to show me because she wouldn't even want her kids to live there in that neighborhood. She was so helpful helping me navigate through everything and the manager we worked with was a little difficult so I called her after to ask her questions and she said she would contact the manager for me and if I ever have any problems I can talk to her and go to her office. Overall, I CANNOT thank her enough!! Thank you Ana for helping me find my dream apartment. I would recommend her to anyone.

Ana responded quickly and personally to my inquiry. I was too early to be looking, but she asked followup questions and said she'd give me a call if anything matching my needs came up.

Ana went out of her way to help me find an apartment. She worked around different appointments to help accommodate my schedule, and got another broker involved too. I ended up taking my friend's apartment instead, but both Ana and Erik did a terrific job.

Ana is amazing. this was my first time looking for an apartment in nyc and she was so helpful and lovely. I gave her a list of what i wanted and she showed me that exactly. She really looked after the safety of Me and my roommate. As we were looking at listings she actually said "i would not want my daughter to live here, so i will not show this to you". she was personable and really on top of things. Unfortunately we did not see anything we fell in love with. But i have reccomended Ana to everyone i know and I will use her in the future!

Ana was very helpful. She was friendly and knowledgeable. She listened to my requirements and was able to show me several apartments that met my needs. When her brokerage increased its fee without letting me know, she worked with the landlord to get us lower rent to make up for it. Apartment hunting with Ana was a very pleasant experience.

Ana responded quickly to my rental inquiry, listened to my preferences in an apartment (like being near the train) and tracked it down all in the same day. She negotiated with the landlord for me, and I really felt like she was looking out for my best interests - she didn't push any poor-quality apartments or basements. She is one of the most genuine people I've ever met, and it was a wonderful broker experience (I've been in NY for 8 years and that is saying a lot). Highly recommend!!

Ana was nice to work with. We had set up an appointment, but some scheduling conflicts came up with my roommate and had to cancel. She tried to be accommodating but we couldn't find a time that worked for all of us.

Ana is hands down the best broker I have ever had the pleasure of working with in my entire history of 6 moves in 17 years.

What sets her apart from the rest is her genuine care that you get an apartment you will be happy with. She doesn't pressure or rush you, keeps you completely informed of every single aspect of the process and makes time past her hours to accomodate your schedule.

Some typical characteristics of brokers I've encountered:
* rude
* sneaky
* lack of understanding of the process they're supposed to have expertise in
* even more rude
* treat you like a pallet of cash
* pushy
* try to oversell an apartment that you don't really like
* negligent

Ana exhibits NONE of these characteristics.

She even went as far as to whisk us away from one apartment because she knew it wasn't for us, despite it being more expensive than the one we ended up with. No other broker I've ever seen would do this.

Ana is a lovely human being and makes you feel comfortable and completely at ease. Conversation with her feels so natural and she responds to you with a sense of familiarity and good nature. I felt like I've known her for years.

I recommend Ana Leon above ANY other broker in New York. She is the epitome of what a real estate broker should be.

Attentive and extremely helpful.

Ana was very courteous, quick to respond to questions via email and very professional. The only reason I didn't rent from her was because I found another apartment before seeing the one she had listed. I would definitely recommend her as an agent.
