Allison moved to NYC 10 years ago by way of Hartford, CT. She has lived and worked all over New York, from TriBeCa to Brooklyn and everywhere in between. Needless to say, she has great restaurant recommendations.
Allison received her BFA in Screenwriting from School of Visual Arts and has worked on numerous films and commercials since, including 3 TriBeCa Film Festival nominated movies and 1 Oscar-winning short film. She was also Prom Queen, if that counts.
Allison is a huge fan of history, which is what she finds to be the most fascinating aspect of New York City real estate. Living in a city that was settled in 1624, there are hundreds of years worth of historic buildings and structures throughout. Whether it's a converted loft or an all glass high-rise, Allison finds beauty in the eclectic, ever changing development styles. Where else on Earth could you live in a former Tootsie Roll factory? She also happens to know for a fact that she would be more than willing to give a quick history lesson or two upon request.
When she is not searching the city for perfect apartment pairings (she likes to think of real estate like match-making), you can find Allison at home with her dog Lulu watching Netflix, ordering take-out and singing karaoke via YouTube. If she's not doing that then she is probably sleeping. She also likes to travel.
Allison knows that her clients aren't looking for apartments, they are looking for homes.
